i hv corola gli 2013.....i felt that when ever i press my brake pedal on 60-70km/h speed abs activates and i hear that grinding sound and jerks on pedal....
what shud i do? do i hv to adjust my brakes or wot?
I dont have knowledge about abs but i think its neccessory for abs to active above 80kmph
Sent from my Note using my thumbs.(M-T)
exactly..:S waiting fr the experts opinions
Sorry bro i missed the word "not"its not neccessory for abs to activte above 80kmph
abs activates at all speeds above 10-20 kmph and as far as your problem is concerned i think you are pushing the pedal too hard try average force on brake pedal and check if it activates
are you kidding me abs activates at all speeds above 10-20 kmph, you better google about how abs works
nooo i dnt press pedal too hard....abs activates beyond pressing 50 percent of pedal...i press my brakes slightly bt car doesnt stops thats why i press the pedal half and resultantly abs activates..... i think i need to adjust my brakes...so that it can stop the car without activating abs....wt say?
Bro i mistakenly forget to add not word i know that abs activates at any speed

hmmm.. next week iwil visit toyota service centre.....do u guys prefer toyota workshop??
ABS comes in action if any of the wheel starts skidding during braking action. There is some thing wrong with ur car tyres, plz check tyre pressure etc
Buddy your car is in warrenty. So take your car to the toyota dealer and tell them the problem they will resolve it for you and if they fail to do so just send an email or telephone complaint to imc your problem will be solved.
yeah its in warranty.....thnx i am goin to visit them next week
I had the same issue with my old car! It was Toyota platz . when i got it checked the brake servo was at fault!
GT-I9100 CyanogenMod
ABS also activates when you steer your car along with braking. i am just making a wild guess may be your car has alignment issues
could be faulty sensors. no one mentioned those, they'd be replaced in warranty.
Any progress? I am facing the same problem....
The abs sensors might either be faulty or need calibration
