It's an average tyre. But the driving comfort and smoothness has improved massively.

So you don't recommend switching Eurostars with yokohama advan. I understand that there will be difference of opinion on this issue and it depends a lot on your personal choice the way you drive and the roads you use.

As I said eurostar is a good tyre that means it isn't that bad, as far Yokohama is concerned it's an excellent tyre.
Eurostars are way better than going for dunlop, falken or hankook 😜

Eurostars in my Grande , ODO 6800km , now it's irritating road noise is increased a lot.

Any one have any idea what will be trade off price for these tyres?

As much as i hate to disagree with a senior PWheeler, but you're discussing human psychology.

It's simple human behavior, you buy something new, you are excited for a month or at most two months, then the feeling of being new fades away and you get accustomed to it.

The fixed rate for buy-in for brand new EuroStar is 4500/tyre, mine were slightly used i.e 600km so he encashed them for 17000 for the four tyres.

Yours won't go for much, you can expect 1500 Rupees for a single tyre.

what I gather from tyre guru thread is that michelin are better. I am getting 1.6 in few days. I am really confused between these two.

That's a really good tyre too, but it's upto you. I got a 205/65, in Michellin that'll cost you around 13000/tyre if you get it from a reliable shop. For me, Advan DB was good enough. But if you're more inclined towards Yokohama, then take my word for it.

Not worthless, but it doesn't live up to it's life span. Gets really hard and noisy after 12-14K kms.

I drove them 18,000 kms on my Altis. No such issue, noise. Nice grip -- both wet and dry .

Museebat he ban gaye hai.. 1000+ pages and i bet 900 pages are eurostar or advan db

Everything ends up on your pocket.. Eurostars are cheap tires compared to Advans.

They get the job done, run till 60,000 to 80,000 kms so pretty much economical as advan db mostly last around 50,000 max usually its just 40,000kms.

Now you your pocket is okay get Advans... Etc blah blah..
