This is more of a psychological effect that Eurostars are awful.

Smuggled tires reality, Eurostars are atleast not treated like that. Lol.

Everything ends up on your pocket.. Eurostars are cheap tires compared to Advans.

They get the job done, run till 60,000 to 80,000 kms so pretty much economical as advan db mostly last around 50,000 max usually its just 40,000kms.

Now you your pocket is okay get Advans... Etc blah blah..
Leave the pocket & mileage aside,

Just tell me one thing..., eurostar or advan db?

Placebo effect in place too, newer or more expensive goods feels better even if inferior.

Here's a recent example from real life:

A friend wanted to buy meg's ultimate for his white grande but I made him buy nxt 2.0 to use it as a base and use pure caranuba wax to top it off with deep shine. He doesn't know much about detailing so underestimated the power of caranuba. Didn't wax his car properly and blamed nxt 2.0 so I waxed my 22 year old khyber with cheap cosmic (but properly) and sent him the pics saying this is ultimate wax topped with cg butter wet pretending my decision was wrong and he should have bought meg's ultimate too and he believed and scolded me for wasting his money. I've yet to tell him that it was cosmic.

Here are the results, sorry for low res pics but the paint on roof is in very bad condition (car was parked outside in a playground under sun for years) lost all clear coat and feels like you are moving your hand on sandy rock when surface felt with hand but the results astonished me for a 22 year suzuki paint that has never received a proper wash and wax since 5-6 years.

Default 11th Generation Toyota Corolla Pakistan

Euro star is a good tyre for the first 1.5year or 20k kms of its life, after that the tyre starts to get noisy and hard. The ride starts to get unpleasant after 15k kms and at 30k kms you can feel the car bouncing off slight imperfections in the road you cant even see at speeds of 30-50kmph. And cat eyes start to become an even bigger issue since no matter how much you slow down the car your interior will start to rattle(coming from a guy who applies breaks for each individual axle twice). After about 25-28k kms of use there will be very obvious tyre noise inside the cabin with all the windows closed. A new euro start is good to live with, i had no complain in city or motorway driving no issues with grip at all, but the same trip when made with thirty thousand kms on the tyres wasnt pleasant, the tyres were slow to respond on motorway and quick lane changes required noticeable over correction to set the car straight and very obvious tyre noise over the sound of the engine. And the abs was prone to trigger after 30k kms.
In the end at 4.5k rs/tyre euro star lasting for for 20k kms isnt a bad deal as compared to a 8.3k rs/tyre advan db that lasts for 40k kms. So there is no rocket science there, you get what you pay for. The only trade off here is that euro star will have far better performance on dirt and gravel then advan db but advan db is significantly quieter and softer to begin with but wont tolerate harsh roads, i would suggest you go to a shop and touch the tyres and see for your self. We being car enthusiasts do care about how we want our cars to feel so we bother to change the tyres to our liking, The average person wont probably notice, maybe you will appreciate the expensive tyre maybe you wont.
Much like the never ending engine oil debate here, it all depends on what the intended purpose of the car is. After such a long post i will tell you this, i got my tyres changed when i got a new car this time, but i wont tell you what tyre i got 😬
Sorry to people who found the post not usefull and to have wasted you time

Remaining pages contain the gold about the oil. It is such a great source of info over the internet that shines out Wikipedia.

Nothing happens to it at 12 or 14k Kms. It gets hard/noisy at 40-50k km range.

Naa, it doesn't really affect the economy that much. Probably there will be a difference of 0.2 or 0.3 km/l 😊

Plus, that's a trade off you have to face. Better road-grip vs fuel consumption.

205 wont be heavy it depends upon what type of tyre u install on it. Advan DB is more toward being Noise less (DB = Decible) it has a high ware factor thus lasts 40 to 50K. If you go towards Yokohama Bluearth series which is made for fuel efficiency and comfort. Even installing 205 doesnt effect the fuel consumption it remains the same as 195. So it all depends upon the choice of tyre. I know when it comes to Yokohama the first words pop in the thread is AdvanDB. There are other good options too.
