I haven't checked its power yet due to the same reason of rare empty roads. Its a big body, still power is adequate, when you need that power to overtake someone, it will not disappoint you. Engine noise remains very low and when revved, its sound is pleasant to ears. Both from stand still to running its pick is quite responsive.
However when you are cruising on let say 60km/hr and you immediately push it you get that jhatkha and gear re-engages and provide you adequate power, when you gradually increase the speed to 80 km/l you won't notice gear change but when ever you push it, it will give you same engagement of gear like in manual, I like it, it feels like engine now becomes ready to produce that torgue to push that huge body forward.
