May be it's a hidden safety feature Wish I could tag my other Software developer buddies, the issues we get to know in our releases we can't even imagine.

Oem rims are made by Enkei. There price is 30-35k each rim.
I won't suggest you to change them as you can't find quality like that in Pak, but if you really wanna do it than change to Lenso 16 inch bcz 17 inch will make your life misery. Autoexpress lahore is authorized dealer of lenso.
Go for a tyre sized 215/60 R16 (yokohama advan db or continental contipremiumcontact5 suggested).

Not a hidden feature, that's a feature in almost every cvt to save the cv-transmission from cracking down ln the road.

    30-35k EACH rim??
I'm getting my grande soon iA, waiting for delivery and saw these rims I think they are available locally in Chinese copy:

11th Generation Toyota Corolla Pakistan -1718148

I would personally like 17s but then suspension might be compromised, which is one of the reasons I preferred this over Civic Oriel X. So need some genuine advice on whether 16s in the design above (china copy) would be worth it or not? with let's say 215/55/R16.

Noise will be due to tires, in my opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong brother, but these Vossen will also be replicas right? So how's the weight difference between them and the ones you took off?

Yes, that's the price the price can be more than that. Go to Toyota and ask about the price you will know,
Google what Enkei is. Btw I won't recommend you to go for these type of rims. They might be chinese and sell you a copy of genuine rims by saying this is original. There are in total 4 different type of copies that are in market for toyota oem 15 inch rims. All have made in Japan and Enkei written on it, but you know well that the best place to buy it is Toyota.
Lenso have an authorized dealer named as "autoexpress" in Lahore. Search them on facebook. Buy 16 incher from them, and install yokohama advan db on it with size of 215/60 R16. There won't be any noise issues or khadda issues.

i have extensive experience with orignal toyota rims, work sp1 racing rims and now with these Vossen concave CV5s . they are the best quality available on market yet and they are very very good looking too. and yes orignal american vossen start from 18 inches.

but these are better than locally available lenso rims for sure. u can see them on my thread.

even the detail in placing the air filling nozzle speaks for itself since its hidden on the inner wall of the rim to ensure proper looks .
