Not a good way to use HIDs. Strobe effect will lower the life of Bulbs and ballasts itself to a great extent. Plus the level of glare it produces is very high. Its wise to use HID projectors in fogs if you want HID fogs.

Do you know any other non hid fog light with strobe option?
I'm not into hids but strobe option is appealing.

    Totally depends on: 1. Your driving style 2. Location/geography 3. Speed 4. AC/No AC 5. Ambient conditions

For me; my Gli gave the best on M1 at an average speed of 80-85 km/hr in November gave me around 19.5 km/lit over a distance of about 150 km.

For me on other roads with hard accelerations gave 13 km/lit in winter (slightly hilly area) with avg speed of 80 km/lt over distance of 210 km.

    Exactly Sir

I love new Civic and it was one of the main motivations to let 1.6 go besides immobiliser. Oriel was in range also. But I have Turbo on my wishlist, till then I will enjoy this.

It also doesn't look like an HID to me, if it is than it might be chinese quality, and also it's misfiring. Bye bye to the fog wiring and welcome to the fire in the engine.
People can't even understand that stock wires are made for 16w bulbs only. They can't hold HID or led etc more than 16w

Chosing a tyre depend upon your preference. What kind of ride you want. Basically in my opinion there are a lot of factors to be checked when buying a tyre

    1- comfortness
    2- sportiness
    3- noise
    4- fuel economy
    5- rolling resistance
    6- speed rating
    7- load rating
    8- Traction rating
    9- made

    And many more.

More comfortable the tyre it will be less sporty and less noisy
More sportiness the tyre has it will have less comfort and more noise.
Rolling resistance the less , more the fuel economy.
Speed rating min H should be bought. It shows tyre will withstand speeds till 210kmph.
Made is v important. Generally tyres made in germany and japan and uk have good quality rubber. Stay away from thailand ones they are made cheap to be exported in less price and do not perform well.

So in comfortable category the best tyres are
    - yokohama advan db
    - continental cc5
    - michelin xm2 (only made in uk)

Before buying a tyre do a loads of research on the tyre on internet. It will tell you a lot about it traits and charesterastics.

My preference is Comfortable and noise free ride. For that i always choose Yokohama Advan db.

Thanks, I was also replying candidly with a No mods planned for the near future, will consider according to requirement down the road. So far have put a dashcam and an OBDII scanner which projects ECU data on LCD over wi-fi. Osram nightbreakers are waiting to go into low headlight though
