After looking at 3 xli s and 4 Glis in the showroom today
I noticed the door handles have a great smooth finish of the paint from inside when u grip the handle however from the facial aspect / outer and visible side is really rough , I don't know why
only 1 white xli had a good finish !

GLI with same arm rest with cup holder
The rear seat is different in 1.3 Ltr variants
The armrest touches the seat and
Is not in air unlike altis because of the difference in the seat design

Since the rear seats are not folding or reclining ones in xli / gli
The added foam on both the sides near the door moulding make them more comfortable than Altis
    Just what I felt

No doubt 1.3 variants has too much color problem.
But it can cover by Compound, polish & wax treatment.
    Yes partial chrome looks great.
Beside making it full chrome I decided to remain it black and make the lower part of bumper chrome.

All Xli buyers I just visited the Mongomery Road for the power windows of Xli. They told me that there are both options available. One to change whole inner pannel and other to fit switches in same interior.
They show me some sample picture of new innrr panel which are very beautiful even Grande Interior is nothing in front of that.

Default 11th Generation Toyota Corolla Pakistan

Jis ki jitni purchasing power hai ussi hisaab se le ga woh car. If I also start behaving abruptly, I can say that my 2010 model Prius costs more than Grande, likewise 9th Gen Civic owners can say this too.

Its agonizing seeing people spend 1.8+ mill (which is not a small amount)and get HALF built 1.3L seriously underpowered cars.
    No offences intended.

Ye to hona he tha when same car(grande) is offered in different prices and trims(XLI/GLI).
So now corolla owners are fighting with each other. One says grande is superior and XLI/GLI is nothing infront of it. Bhai body shell, interior everything is almost same except engine and sunroof.

In layman terms both cars are SAME. Exterior, interior everything is same. Park a GLI and Altis side by side and ask anyone what is the difference between these cars. I'm sure his/her reply will be "Both cars are same".
At least paying 24 lac for a competitor's car is justified as their top of the line product is totally different from their entry level product. Now please don't bash me Rolla fans.
    Peace.

You are right. Cosmetic upgrades can make a XLi look like an Altis. If one person has an Altis, he has absolutely no right to diss a XLi/GLi owner, everyone has their own preferences.

Koi seats utha k nahi laraha !

According to some ppl who are owners of 9th gen Civic and a fellow pakwheeler who has made a thread " test drive of Altis "
The rear seats of New Corolla are not comfortable esp at extreme right n left
It is because of no foam of the seats at sides as the seats are split folding seats so we have hard plastic on the sides instead of seat material !
This is not the case with ( i won't write the name of that variant here because you two have some serious problems and are continuously ruining this thread targeting civic city and even corolla variants now and then HE thinks he's too mature lol )
Corolla with standard rear seats which are not folding or reclining ones , is really comfortable and if not better , equally good as compared to competition !

I think everyone has his/her own perspective of buying smart- having base model with option to add up the toppings as per one's like makes more sense-

Seems like two categories get hurt with XLi GLi

1- Those who rushed and bought full options in a rash and now getting annoyed with top up discussions

2- Competitor owners who have gone into denial and started belittling better looking new product

    Just my 2 cents-
