No it's OK, , the reason they are high is because of the small engine needs to work harder plus the gear box is crappy

You can visit any toyota 3s dealership but make sure you book an appointment with them first.

I own the same model 2010 gli and its identically same with your cars pic, rpm is 3.5 on 120 and just touching 4.0 on 130. And on 130km/h motorway to islamabad the meter displays 14.7 average at trip end.

While coming back home today Floored my Gli 1.3 Auto
    0 to 100 time is 16 to 17 seconds
Started accelerating at 3rd second in the video and it touched 100 at 19th second ( 0 to 100 is 16 secs )
As far as i remember according to the brochure it was 16.7 seconds
    So its accurate
I think i will have to make an id at dailymotion then upload video there and then finally will be able to share it here

17 seconds is very sluggish, how would you feel when a new Mehran euro 2 would over take in acceleration, don't know how you feel but the Mehran wala would feel over whelmed.

    Good for him
I have no issues at all
I dont want to race i am driving a family sedan and on busy roads of karachi ..i hardly get a chance to floor my 1.8 civic here , so when theres no use why should we waste our money on 1.8 ltr cars considering WHT and all other related expenses ( talking about ghareeb banda from a middle class family )
Furthermore dont compare it with manual transmission
    Compare it with
1.3 ltr automatic current City ( with 0 to 100 timing of 17.3 secs )
With 1.3 automatic Nissan Ad or Sunny
With 1.3 automatic swift which takes 14 seconds ( not impressive for a small hatchback with 1328 cc )

Please understand that Rev values at all speeds are due to the transmission gear ratios and NOT the engine displacement in CC. Same 1.8L engine married to an automatic transmission revs 1.8k at 120kph.

CC never matters, transmission matters. Rev counter is normal in the said picture.

Engine cc also matters in a way that a bigger engine would require lesser rpm to cruise at desired speeds like say 120kph than a smaller engine due to the fact it's burning more fuel and air due to bigger cylinder volume per 4 stroke cycle, moreover the normal family sedans have more or less same final gear ratios. so it basically ends up with engine power at different rpms

Driving a family sedan, got it then whats the point in checking 0-60 times. U know it reminds me of a post on pakwheels a few years back by a guy who was arguing with everyone that his stock new alto can do 0-60 in 7-8 secs and no matter what people posted in reply u didn't agree to any logic, then a few pages and a 100 posts down it was dawned on all that he is measuring 0-60 kph time not miles so the point is people believe whatever they wanna believe, I am glad u like ur car and u should it's from ur hard earned money, but please for the sake of whatever passion we Pakistanis have for cars, call a spade a spade. top speeds don't matter much but it's the good acceleration that brings smiles.

Whats the point in checking 0 to 100 time ?

Many members here who are thinking about purchasing this new Gli 1.3 Auto are a bit reluctant and have asked many times about 0 to 100 time
    Our fellow member @umair2203
Pmd me last night and asked about acceleration

I just made the video for him
Why would I floor my just 800 kms driven brandnew car ? Just for checking 0 to 100 time which we already know is 16.7 according to brochure
But i care about other members ,
Love n respect some sensible and mature members here
I just dont come here to pass my time ..
