EX Factory Price of GLI MT is Rs. 1,749,000 PKR but in Lahore it's price is 1,770,500 PKR without freight charges. Why?

Heres my sincere and honest adv
If you really want to enjoy your ride and need something better than the ride you have at present 9th gen Civic is the car for you

I agree 20 hp is not a big deal but its about 5 speed AT vs 4 speed AT
    Both cars drive differently
And Civic gives more driving pleasure

Kept both altis 1.6 and 8th n 9th gen Civic
    And according to him too

    9th gen civic > 8th > altis 1.6
Agreed. 9th Gen has the best engine. I've driven it. But I believe corolla has beaten 9th Gen civic in looks and quality as well. Would have gone for cvt but budget doesn't allow me right now So 1.6 is the right choice for me at the moment and I'm going to book it this week inshAllah if it is launched tomorrow. Will keep you guys updated. Meanwhile, I'm putting my 8th Gen up for sale.

Gli auto will remain the best selling variant of 11th gen corolla till the end which will be 2020
Currently has a great resale value and even after 5 years it will have the best resale

But Altis 1.6 obviously is a better car
I would have gone for it but unfortunately they didnt launch it in July/August
Even i can sell my Gli Auto for 21 easily and get it booked but i am not going to do that
Reason being This time I really want to enjoy the legendary resale of Gli after horrible experience with Altis previous shape twice ..
I would happily touch 100 km/hr at 16th second as compared to 12 seconds for 1.6
I am not in a hurry lol

But except for the resale Altis is a better car just like cruisetronic is better than 1.6 and grande better than cruisetronic
Isnt it too early to comment abt 1.6 Altis's resale?? And why are u so afraid of Altis Brand Tag?? In previous gen this 1.6 was tagged as Gli.. Does that make any difference??
Many people had extreme losses on reborn civic too so does that mean they should stay away from Civic as well..
Gli auto has really good demand presently even more than Gli manual that used to be cash cow of Indus.. Reason being more and more people now prefer auto transmission prob. bcoz of increasing traffic and a changing trend due to jdm's.. But now it has a competition and buyers have a choice now as at a price difference of 1.25 lacs one can get more engine displacement that is appropriate for car of this size as well, alloy wheels and a navigation unit with a reverse cam.. Only someone short on budget will go for Gli auto.. In terms of resale there wud b no difference just wait and watch....

I know 1.8 has extra features but as a common man what difference does it make for me that one engine is newer than the other?

We have nonstop availability of cng in peshawar and 1.6 can be converted easily. That means better resale value. 1.8 is new technology in pakistan so not tested properly in here. If 1.8 is good, one can sell 1.6 without losses and buy 1.8, a better car... (just my thoughts)

That varies from city to city, dealer to dealer and sometimes on color of ur choice.. So better call 2-3 3s toyota dealerships in your city..
Generally Gli auto has much more waiting period.. In Lahore most dealers are quoting March 2015 as delivery month if booked today.. Time for Gli manual and Xli wud be 2-3 mnths i think...

    Gli corolla 1.3 2nzfe:
    oil filter cost 500rs
    oil 4 liter minimum 2500rs
    air filter toyota genuine 1500rs
changing fuel filter depend on u after 40-50,000km: 2500rs
    acid battery after 2.5 years 40ah 3500rs

    2.0D 2c diesel:
    oil 5L: minimum 3000rs
    oil filter toyota genuine:1000rs
diesel fuel filter after 15-20,000km to keep running 2c healthy: dont remember the cost
    acid battery after 2 years 60ah :4500-5000rs
overhauling 2c after 75k km price minimum cost 50,000rs

now the diesel price is also high so tell me is it cheaper to run petrol car or diesel car? my 2.0d saloon used to run 550-600km on 55L tank....i dont want to continue on audi Q7 3.0tdi maintenance costs
Some of your quoted price for diesel are high

    Oil 5L=2300 -2400 caltex gold

Oil filter = changed to a fix one which need to get washed after 3-4 oil changes and 200-300ml of oil in it (nearly no cost)

No need to change oil filter that soon

Battery price = 3400-3600 changed last year

And for overhaul = nothing major just tune ups at 1lac km . I think cost was around 15-20k
Its how you keep your car

I am not saying its much cheaper than petrol or anything because diesel prices are high

Launch of 1.6 would definitely dent the sales of 1.3AT, just my thoughts bcz 19+ for a 1.3 seems too much

did u really re-used the oil filter n that too by washing it? i have never heard oil filter is reusuable/washable..... i know delo gold ultra is for 2310rs 5L but i gave the max average price. i dont know which cheap battery u r using but acid battery of 60aH starting price 4500rs from any battery dealer, 3400rs might be the small battery of 40aH which is not sufficient for 2c diesel engine.....never done the overhauling in my diesel car but tht wat Toyota workshop recommend.....it was the best economical car until diesel price went high
