    Default Pre-Delivery Inspection Checklist

For those who are going to collect their new car from dealership sooner or later, the spreadsheet (at link below) may be helpful as a checklist. I know for some it may not be required and sometimes impractical to check each and everything but it would be better for your piece of mind later.

I gathered this information from previous posts on pakwheels.com forums. Thanks to all.

Let me know if there is something important I missed.

Even this check list should be used while taken rent cars or buying used cars.

Wow these are a lot of things, are we supposed to do that in the showroom ? But it's a very useful collection of checks for any car owner.

You can download an app for HUD on your smart phone and then use it as HUD. I guess it is a waste of money to buy one from IMC

It is the green digital speed reading you can see in the image you quoted.
The HUD is a small device that comes as an optional accessory with the Grande.

You made the mistake of downloading it on the car lcd screen.
Download it on your smart phone and use the mirroring option of the app. Place the phone on your car dashboard top and it will mirror the reading on your car windshield. But it will use the gps on the mobile to guage your speed through your device's net connection. So the reading will not be exactly matching to your car's speedometer as mobile net has a bit of a lag.

Internet is NOT required for measuring the car's speed, GPS is used for this purpose. As long as you have a GPS enabled device, you can use it as a cheap but no so effective alternative of the actual HUD.

Although I have never been able to comprehend the use of an HUD.

With a smartphone equipped with gps, yes no net is required. With the old AGPS handsets net would be required.
