Anybody driving grande over 180km/h because there is speed limiter which cuts further acceleration.. Disappointed to know ~ xli/gli can do more than altis in top speed i.e 190-191@ 6000 rpm. What a waste and shame ~ a 7lac cheaper 1.3 version beating grande 1.8 on the long stretch of motorway.
No doubt about 1.8 beating initially in acceleration.

even if its stable still these speeds are not advisable esp when there are no air bags

Didn't the height of the car cause any control issues at that speed?
Also, are u using stock tires?

Hee hee, 'no airbags,' I really liked it. For IMC, (car) occupants' safety is not a priority. What type of fraud is going on in our country? Jidhar daikho, udhar he fraud hay. The level of fraud depends on the person doing it. Our whole society is corrupt. Just look at the quality of IMC's Corolla. Pathetic. No value for your money. This is the level of fraud being done by IMC. A motor mechanic will swap new parts for old ones. That's his level of fraud. Parts badlaa daita hy baimaan mechanic.

Are you sure about grande having speed limiter? I don't really think so.

Bro Grande 1.8 can reach 194 kph, but even tht doesnt matter. The thing that matters is response from the engine as u push the pedal, which 1.3 lacks by leaps and bounds as compared to 1.8 2ZR-FE. Never heard of a speed limiter in grande

If it has a speed limiter, than I think it should be there in every car, because you do not buy a family sedan car do such speeds, it's very unsafe especially on public motorways, and they are not made do those speeds. If the speed-o-meter says 240 km\h, that does not mean it's safe to take the car to that speed or if the car will even achieve that speed.

Bro, on a lighter note, we always complain regarding value for money, but are we willing to pay the cost for a corolla if indus sold it for 3 million? An upspec model of altis in thailand is around 1 million baht. Indus has to strike a balance between cost and options. Extra airbags and immobiliser etc are too costly and majority is not willing in pakistan to pay huge sums for a domestic corolla car with these options. A Grande costs 17 lacks Indian Rupees in India, which is a lot more then ours.

There is speed limiter in altis~ and it sucks! Car propels like anything till 165km/h makes you feel 210, 220km/h is no big deal but as you reach 180 click click and no more acceleration even how hard or how many times you metal the pedal~ accelerator activates after speed drops to about 165.
    Disappointing

I think basically local assemblers manipulate the customer bcoz they know that they dont have much choice.. many ppl think jdm can b an option also but atleast i dont think so.. Dont wanna start a new jdm vs local war but frankly speaking i m not a fan of jdm's and wud prefer to go for local assembled brand new even if it has less features.. till The day a better car than honda or corolla is assembled here,
