To be honest its not so much difference in ride quality that one can straightaway feel, but obviously it has much better grip etc and look as its 5.1% wider due to 205 thing.

Currently own Toyota altis cvti with 215/55/16. The front tyres are perfectly fine almost like new but recently got one rear severely damaged due to a road side cut. Cant find the tyre which matches the similar condition and size specification of the rear. Went to shershah to all possible tyre markets but no success.
Found a pair of neat 205/60/16 for my rear at last.
There is a difference of aspect ratio(profile) which is more i.e 60r instead of 55r and less width i.e 205 instead of 215.
The tyres are almost identical in size but 205/60/16 are marginally taller about 1cm which are installed in the rear. Vehicle looks better abit uplifted. Haven't driven on a long route yet - just installed them.
    Need expert advice on following:
    1. Is it all right to run different sizes with minor differences in width & aspect ratio in the front and back?
    2. Is it better to have taller or wide tyres at the back or in the front?
    Cars make my blood live...

All four tires should be of same size, tread on this type of vehicle
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

Bro they are June 2014 and proper import ones. What i was telling is that the difference in ride quality is not so drastic that you can straightaway. Although Eurostars are crap as compared to Advan DB

if u r short in budget then least u can do is to get two tires replaced either both rear or both front...Try to shift old ones at rear and new ones at front...the tire profile shud be same as old ones.. and also the brand should also be same even if model of tire is different.. Although its suggested to replace all four tires especially if u travel out of city frequently... And whenever u buy tires go for those that have most availability

that comfort is bcoz of corolla's suspension.... Being owner of 9th gen Civic and Present shape City , i m really disappointed with hard suspension of both.. City pe to compromise kia ja sakta hai bcoz it is low price but in case of 2.5 Million Civic... NO WAY
Buying Civic since its first launched local assembled model in 1994 but now think this 9th gen wud b the last one i bought....

Grande Bronze Mica - Booked on Aug 17 - Toyota Township
    PBO - Nov
Got call yesterday to get delivery on Friday
Went to get delivery - got back empty handed!

Car was being washed. After washing they parked the car in one of their area which was under low light?.only few tubes lights. My uncle and elder son was with me and I asked them to check the car specially body and looks for any scratches. During the final stages of documentation, I decided to check the car myself on parallel to save some time. I excused the gentleman who was working on documentation and went to check it. My uncle and son said that it?s absolutely scratchless. Awesome!

Car was looking stunning I must say. I turned on led on my phone and decided to give a round myself. All was looking good until I reached passenger side fender, 5 white dots at random places. What the hell, must be some imperfection while painting which will go away with compound. When I touched the surface on dots, it was smooth. The dots were inside paint. I instantly knew that these will not go away whatever they do. After this I found 8-10 more dots on same side, doors, pillars and top. I also found light scratches and one brushed painted scratch on driver side.

    - I told them to stop the documentation immediately. At no cost, I will accept it
    - They asked me to give them 30 mins to fix this. I said ok. I knew they won?t be able to fix it though.
    - They compound the affected parts, as expected this made dots a bit bigger!
    - They polished it, even used zero sand paper. Utterly useless!
    - Then they took photos and said that they will contact IMC. They took me to warranty department.
    - I told them, why warranty? That car is not mine. I did not accept it so there is no question of warranty. They understood what I was walking about and accepted my stance.
    - I told them that I can give them only few days to replace it or fix it fully. I know they can not fix it. Door and fender can be replaced but not pillars and top.
    - If not, them I want my money back with 3.5 months of interest on that.
    - Now they will contact IMC and will resolve this.

Some observations, during this ordeal, no one from manager to lower staff tried to force me to accept the car except that warranty trick. They were cordial and said they If I don?t accept it then be it is.

Lesson: Check the car thoroughly, try to get it in day light. Check if with flash light if under dark.
UPDATE: I contacted IMC just in case Toyota Township lingers on my case.
One senior GM after sales IMC, one GM sales IMC and one head of customer relations responded separately to me and called me. I am hoping a replacement within this week.

From where can we get Mud Flaps for new Corolla ?
    Any idea about price ?
I have asked from one of a salesman at Toyota dealership when I booked my GLI, he said same old flaps can be used for this one as well. Not sure if it is possible but it was his stance.

So, we are almost in the 6 month of the launch of 11th generation corolla and I can clearly see civic fanboys converting to corolla, the ones who didnt get tired of praising their 9th generation civics. I guess this is what we call irony. Got a 9th gen civic myself after buying an altis grande and I was utterly disappointed by the suspension and comfort level, slight difference in the comfort level which u get in a honda city. No matter which brand tyres you put in a car with hard suspension, it will stay the same. It is stupid to assume that the tyres will rule out the effects of hard suspension on your back no matter how soft or expensive they are. Honda is in no way near to Toyota when it comes to suspension and comfort. Khair "dair ayr, durust aye".
