Your dealership that booked the car must be able to give you a precise time/day of delivery if your car is dispatched from the plant. Those trucks come at real peace taking around something give or take upto 3 days. Offloading etc margin too needs to be accounted for

Its not a Sultan Rahi Punjabi movie friends, its a discussion forum.
My advice: live for yourself and ignore others. Also please consider that its usually Pros & Cons, not just Cons & Cons or Pros & Pros.

Brother your detailed review of new Corolla is more about "feel", nothing to do with technical details and there analysis.
Spare the new owners and those who have booked there cars with lots of hopes and happiness to own it, from ur feelers. Moreover, what has car to do with sultan rahi movie, please keep your advices for some better purpose ! Peace

I have been driving 11th Generation Toyota Corolla Xli for last 4 months and 2 weeks and I am enjoying it very much. Its so smooth on bumps like spacer bars on bridges & drain grills in Under passes. I have driven it on Lahore Ring Road many times at max 140km/h and it is excellent. There is no issue of braking or road grip in it.
This is my third Xli, earlier I have used 9th and 10th Generation Xli also. This 11th is the best.
It makes me hard while overtaking sometimes as its under power 1.3 L engine but I can bear it as I drive very calmly on road.

in previous gen 1.3 I felt that too, and seems like will have the same gap here, I wish IMC introduce 1.6 Manual in 11th gen.

It's surprising that a an under powered 1.3 L engine makes you hard.

I don't get it why underpower, are we going for a head to head race ???
I don't think so, we buy cars for daily work, comfort or for looks not for race tracks.

I called two toyota dealership in lahore about installing Altis keyless entry with trunk opening option for my GLI. They say its not possible due to the reason that its key gets broken often if fell on floor. If anyone here installed that keyless entry in their GLI or XLI let me know for how much and from where it was done.

If you downshift to 3rd gear and press the race paddle then doesn't it provide you enough power to overtake, I think it should provide.

I request the admin to enforce the forum rules in true letter and spirit as after going thru this thread it's quiet evident that people are fighting more amongst each other rather then discussing the car itself! All non-technical and abusive posts may kindly be deleted and people trying to enforce their opinions on others may kindly be blocked! OR this thread may please be closed and a new thread may please be started! @Moderator

The thread is all good, fight and personal attack no second chance, opinions with kind reply no objections.

I think a gentle opinion with valid thought will be nice in reviewing the new arrival.

Simply install Steel Mate 898G for 10,000. Its 2way + trunk opener + remote start. This feature is too good in winters, as u enter a warm car that has been pre-started

11th gen corolla is here to rule the market, whether someone likes it or not. The reason is simple: the combination of the car is perfect for a Pakistani consumer. Durable suspension, cheaper spare parts and most importantly; excellent resale! The rest is history!

Sir I had a similar issue with my GLi, the issue was since day 1.
I took it to the dealership and complained about this and as the car is under warranty they were bound to correct it.
The guy fully turned the steering towards left and did some adjustment behind the right wheel without removing anything, same thing for left wheel, loaded car on to the lift, adjusted the brakes and rotated the tires. Then I went for a test drive along with their technician and I floored my car on 7th Avenue and then braked hard, the issue was gone.
We should expect such quality issues from Pakistani assembled cars.
