Aoa, @sk_kingpin brother I would beg to disagree with your analysis...You see this time two things have happened
1- Honda's New Model 9thGen Civic Launch was a disaster and a disappointment to all Civic Lovers...Not because it was not a great car it was.....All the reviewers claimed that it was better than the 8th Gen Civic in all Departments which itself had won several awards like best car in its category.....But because Civic owners had become used to a drastic design change and this model looked more like a mid-life upgrade rather than a fully redesigned New Model....Hence Honda rushed to give the New Civic an update within the 1st year of launch and has since again given another update now offering CVT transmission like Corolla .
2- Toyota got it right this time....Unlike the usual bland looking car this time the Corolla is well pretty nice looking.....Then they offered an industry leading rear seat leg space and CVT and Paddle shifter and set a new trend instead of trailing behind.
Hence my analysis is that Civic will now only be bought by die hard Honda Fans and people who are too much concerned about the lack of status recognition due to same shape Xli/Gli and Altis Grande....For the rest Corolla will be a preference due to roomier cabin ,suspension, resale and the Price ....But wait a couple of years Honda will come back with a bang with the next model as they are not the type to just sit back.
True that. Plus the interior of this corolla (esp Grande) and its meters etc are exact copy of new prado and very great looking ones
Power wears out those who don't have it !
