If your Rolla is giving u more than 13km/l of average on speeds over 100kmh with manual transmission than I disagree completely. Would u guys mind sharing the rpm of your rollas on 100kmh? Even in 5th gear the rpm stays way over 3000. And if you trust that average meter in these pathetic Pakistani junk than as per @capsat a standing salute to your mentality.

For a 1.3L Corolla, mileage figures above 13 kmpl can easily be achieved. Its quite possible.
I have done it myself and I always calculate avg by old school method. I agree with you on the gadget part, its not always accurate, but it gives you a fair idea.

Well i don't know about the 11 gen, but my 10th gen Corolla's best consumption is 14.4kmpl, and no, this reading is not from the average meter, this is calculated using the old fashion method.
PS. This consumption was achieved on the super highway at speeds between 100-110 kph. Distance was 412km and it consumed 28.61L of fuel.

I totally agree with you. I had City 2010 and that car used to give me 18km/l and at that time I thought 1.3 Corolla can never beat this but I was wrong, This time I have GLI MT 2015 and it was giving me 18.5km/l. on stock tires.

    Default Awaiting

Salam. I m very new in posting to pakwheels forum. Have been following this thread from almost very beginning of this thread. I am already driving 8th Gen Civic and really liked this new corolla shape. Booked strong blue grande cvt i on 16th march. Called today and i m told delivery on 13th april. Will upload pics and little review as soon as i get the car. I m really concerned about security of car here in karachi. I m against insurance. I have immobilizer in my civic. I also heard that theft rate of automatic & altis variant is very less as compared to manual and more market oriented Xli & Gli. Awaiting suggestions from pakwheelers.
