Did it from Heera Brothers in Rawalpindi in feb 2015. Might be at that time no grip to grip wiring was available in DLAA fog lights or may be i was misguided . Any how what is done is done.

Any one has experienced getting chrome strips applied to his xli/gli's grill?
Like instead of buying the whole chrome grill ....
And if you have i would like to know about shop/price etc... In Rawalpindi
Is it worth it to get those strips or just buy the whole grill?

I got it install in my ride from day one. I do not like black grill on light shades in 11 generation. Go for it. You will like it.

You got the whole grill? or did you get chrome strips and applied them to your normal grill? Price and shop?

Bikers? You and I share the same pain bro.

By the way, I got the exact same sill plates, only that I customised the glowing logo to "Altis" and got rid of the stupid "for".

No need of complete replacement of rearview mirror as you can replace just the indicator part as I did in my 2012 Altis. Bought it from Toyota Islamabad Motors for probably 1600 (and it was a bike hit).

What is the purpose of these sill plates anyway?... apart from the glow ...
I might get them if they benefit me in some way but still not clear why so many people get them

Well guys in DHA Phase 4 and 3 Lahore around 16 new corollas were stolen from homes of people on eid. I got to know this from the people themselves as we have community meetings after every 3 months.

The purpose is not to de-grade corolla owners but just here to make people aware of the on going situation. One should take special measures to protect their cars.

Those are some staggering figures sadly. My car is always under my observation whether at home, someone else's place or outside a restaurant, cafe or wherever I park it, I always keep an eye on the car. Plus I always recite some verses before leaving home and while parking the car somewhere, Alhamdulillah that works out really well all the time

I too was shocked to hear this. And during whole Ramadan DHA always was on high alert due to this reason but yet again they failed to protect corollas.
Anyways yes everyone should take strict measures to protect their cars specially corolla owners. Insh Allah kuch nahi hoo ga.

DHA Lahore has such poor security ?
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

DHA Lhr has no entry-exit check post as DHA Isb or bahria town, may be that is the reason of such high theft rate.

Scuff plates ? they are there for scuffs actually. People play footsie with that particular area getting in and out of the car, scuff plates help with that.
