I also got the camera installed in my grande yesterday , cost me a bit more like 3000 from pindi. Quality and view is good. Have to turn it on by going into the AV mode. I have shifted the AV mode icon to home screen which makes it more accessible and convenient. Fitting is pretty easy as you just have to take the monogram out , file in a small hole where the camera fits and the camera just fits in. A single video wire goes in and fits into the AV plug at the back of the navigation unit , and that is all , job done.

I am also pretty finicky like you , thought a lot about it , but trust me it's worth an effort as whenever I used to park in front of pavements specially , I had no idea , but now every thing is pretty visible , shop is the old disco music , and tell him to get it installed by the fitter who is know on as kala , he knows his job well and trust me to remove the navigation unit was so easy that even I could do it at home , no squeak sounds at all after fitting , absolutely very easy removal and refit if done properly. The shop guys name is Arshad. I did not take any pic as I was too involved watching him

Has anyone installed this parking sensor in Corolla or in any of vehicle?. As I do not have screen in GLI, thinking to install for parking ease.
How is its quality, is it worth installing? One more question, if I install it, would it void warranty?

Dear all, What is the difference between the 10th Generation Corolla GLI 1.6 Automatic and 11th Generation Corolla Altis 1.6, apart from factory fitted alloys and back view camera. I have also been told that the 10th Generation Corolla GLI 1.6 was a fuel guzzler. How true is that? Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot for this informative reply Tahir bhai. What I understood from it was the fact that both 10th and 11th generation possessed the same engine. Correct me if I am wrong.

This is ultrasonic sensor and it's require to drill in bumper to fit sensor, this is the worst thing in this system.
i used megnatic parking sensor in my Civic, in this system bumper will not damage. You just need to past a aluminium stip sticker in inner side of bumper. It's good and really help a lot in reversing. Even I have back cam but this audio is more usefull.
