Bro, going for Grande is your choice but I would advise you to google and read user reviews on some american auto forums, about CVT technology and you would realize that there are more people complaining about CVT than praising it. There are many reasons for it, which have been mentioned by the users themselves. Hope you make a well-informed decision in the end.

Will do so, whenever I get any chance. How would you rate the quality of Super White paint on Corolla Altis 1.6? Does it peel off easily?

First of all good decision to move to Grande. If one has budget why not? Go for the top of line and you get all those goodies. I still wish I had budget and did not have some pending projects, would have gone for it.

Secondly now do not think about 1.6, however it does not have + - modes because it is not a CVti and same 4-speed AT Super ECT from previous generation GLi 1.6 AT/Altis

It take same effort to clean any car and with a little bit detailing one gets more rewarding results on a black car

    Salam brothers

Once i have discussed the issue that i got 11th Gen corolla GLI manual and was facing the problem of wobling. I went to toyota GT motors and discussed the whole issue with them one of the guy seated on driver seat and asked me to come along with him for test drive. i told him that see car is just jumping on speed on 30 and 40 also he said to me that this is bcoz of road is bumpy. i asked him to go on motorway and took car upto 120 km and there was lots of vibration in car we came back and the took for wheel balancing and found one on the RIM was bent and it got replaced after the completion of balancing we went for try again on motorway and vibration in car was finished but on speed of 30 and 40 there was jumps in car. he said that it is bcoz of jumps in road. i m not satisfied with this statement of him. and came back not paying a single peny to them. yesterday i was going to bahria town with my family and on slow speed of 30 and 40 i felt the same jumps in the car and got much worried about it bcoz i have paid a lot of money but not satisfied with the performance. I have drove my car on 1770 km yet. the guy at GT motors was saying get your tyres checked from their dealer in I-10 General tyre company. I have the same tyres which came with Zero meter Car (EuroStar). Please brothers help me out. if any of you who is in Rawalpindi can drive my car on weekend to rectify the problem for me i shall be very thank full to you all.

Today, went to Toyota dealership to inquire about the status of my car's delivery. There the salesman showed me pics of a Corolla burnt from front due to electrical short circuit. He quoted me the reason that the owner got fog lights installed from market, which caused this. As the front of the car was totally burnt, he had to discard the car for merely 7 lac rupees He also refused to install fog lights and advised me to keep the car stock. He told me that Toyota didn't provide any separate electrical connection for fog lights, so for installing the same, one have had to temper the original head lights electrical wiring, thus increasing chances of electrical short citcuit. Need opinion of experts who have got after market fog lights installed. Thanks and regards.

Two type of fog lights are available in market.
The cheap ones are fitted by altering the existing wires whereas the good ones have their own grips and wiring which is connected to battery.
I would advise you to go for good quality as the price difference is merely Rs. 5000/-

Thank you very much for the kind reply. I, however, need to know as to how do you open/close the fog lights? Is there any separate button installed for it, or is it installed with the dipper of head lights? Regards.

Fog light come with a cheap type of button but that is ok as far as you are ok with the looks. Button is wired somewhere beneath the glove box with wire of two small bulbs that are located on the innermost side of headlights (forgot what they are called). Electrical load, wire overheat and other problems one should have a separate appropriate gauge wiring with good connectors, proper insulation and good quality relay.

Good set of fogs comes with grip to grip wiring only one wire for earth might be peel of from original car wiring .. and fog lights have thier own separate push button , these lights works with parking lights on .. means if parking lights of your car are on, you push the fog lights button to lit them if parking lights are off then fogs will not lit ... My advice .. go for glass body Fogs, DLLA is cheaper but hard to find in glass ... I found them and then replaced the bulbs of these lights with good quality bulbs

    Aoa,
    Which car have you ordered?
I installed my Corolla's fog lights from the Toyota showroom. They sold them for around 4500; I don't remember the price exactly. The button for turning on and off the lights looks and feels cheap and the relay produces a strong sound when the normal or the fog lights are switched on or off. I did tell them to check it but they simply said that it is the relay which is producing the sound. To install the lights wires were cut from the from left door panel and separate wires were attached to the battery. Should I get them removed now? I feel that without them Corolla in black looks boring and weird from front.

Guys, can anyone tell me why Toyota is only booking corolla jan/feb 2016 for investors and not normal people. If anyone has any contacts in sometoyota showroom, can you help me get my car in January 16 since that is the time I'll be returning to Pakistan.
