    Hi guys,
Wanted to ask if anyone has felt or observed this issue I am facing in my grande. I have recently shifted from reborn and being of 6 ft height, I tend to adjust the seat at the furthermost position from the steering for comfort. But, while doing this the steering of the car seems way to distant even after pulling it out to max. I don't know if anyone has felt this but it is causing a slight pain in my arm while I drive.
Any thoughts/ suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks and great day driving guys....

Bro same here I am not liking the seating adjustment of this car.In my reborn I had seat at lowest position yet could see front very good and visibility was good but in Grande I have to adjust seat higher for forward visibility which is not fun

And its pity that they have added height control now in grande. Previously it was no where to be seen in corolla and imagine the other variants without it.
This feature is present even in 660cc JDMS since a decade.

Anyways the huge body of corolla has some consequences so you will have to get used to it.

In other variants seat height is ok at medium position but I want lower seat position which is inconvenient to drive in Grande.
Furthermore windscreen is small so forwars visibility isnt as great as reborn however side visibility is much better than reborn
    And dashboard is higher

This is really bad as I have done a million adjustments of the seat height, position and steering wheel but have not been able to find a comfortable position. If my legs are comfortable, I cannot reach the steering wheel and if I sit close to the steering wheel the position of legs is quite awkward and uncomfortable.
If I could just pull out the steering a bit more...... Alas
And yes if you increase the height of the seat, seems you are driving a bus......

Yes front screen seems a bit cramped. And dashboard is on our face. The only way is too maximise the height.

Haha I have been going through the same dilemma here. In the Gli manual, first the lumber support is more than required and since there is no adjustment, one feels it kind of pushing the lower back. The seat doesn't adjust to the right position: a position which is comfortable so that the knees and upper leg is supported and not too far up from the seat, and not so back that pressing the clutch completely feels dangerous as if the clutch would slip. The dashboard is not proper. Atleast, it doesn't feel proper. It is impossible to see the hood. At most positions either the clutch is released too soon, which creates a jerk. Or not properly which comes close to stalling the car. Also, the placement of the clutch to the right close to the brake isn't ergonomic. The visibility is poor. And Gli doesn't have any height adjustable seats.

My Altis 1.6 is due in November as mentioned in PBO. When I contacted IMC helpline, I was told to contact dealership to know about the expected delivery date, and when I contacted dealership, I was told that the car would be delivered in November, but they could not give any specific date? It seems after taking 100% payment in advance, both IMC and dealership are playing with customer like a ping pong ball. It's still 10th November, and 20 more days are there in this month? What should I do? Thanks and regards.
As rightly put by another probably your car will be delivered at end of the November coz usually people with contacts or their favorite customers get their cars in start of the month.

Very strange observations of seats and windscreen. Anyother owner having these issues or is it related to person's height?

Also, I feel that the rear view mirror is always in your face obstructing the front left view. If the seat is closer to the steering this problem is magnified.

Bro, even with the height adjustment I am unable to attain a comfortable driving position - perhaps someone with mid heights may feel comfortable but not at 6 ft I am sure

I have given up on getting the perfect seating position and instead have adjusted the seat to the maximum comfortable position attainable and am just getting used to it.

Hopefully that would work. But still the rear view mirror is annoying and the scarce visibility is inadequate. Sure it is no bother on a two lane dual carriage way but in small streets it is a problem. One actually has to lean below a little to see across the mirror.

Rightly said so, neither do I have any contacts in IMC nor am I one of their favourite customers, so both these factors lead to the conclusion that I will get my car in last days of November In shaa Allaah

Rear visibility is very bad for driver. One need back view camera and it should be available in all versions. Did you get the 9" android Dvd ? If yes how's it working so far?

Nope , just a simple Chinese Dvd player with back cam , fits my requirements perfectly, needed back cam really badly and video songs when driving around with friends

Brother i strongly disagree in this regard, atleast front seats are are hard and very uncomfortable as compared to its predecessor, if you compare it with civics then you might feel okay but keeping in view the corollas comfortness. seats should have some more cushioning.
