    Hello guys,

A question for all Corolla owners who have clocked ODO mileage greater then 6000 Kms so far.......... what kinda noises you hear in cabin when you drive on rough/ irregular roads. As i believe this plastic interior will start to give noises sooner or later.

My Altis passenger side door gives some unidentified rattling when driven on rough hard surface.

What is you guys take on this ?

I think you should go to dealership. Your seat may need some adjustment.

I am not feeling anything like that. I just clocked 18000. Gli a/t

I hear some rattling noise from the front right portion of the dashboard when I drive on rough roads. It seems to be coming from around the vent that blows out air for defogging the right side window near the right side rear view mirror. Not loud or too audible. I thought of going to the dealership, but decided to leave it as it is. Can't take headaches. Just enjoying the car now.

So, here is what imperfections or defects I found on the dashboard of Corolla. They are small but still noticeable. Should I go to the dealership? The car has done only 2800 kms. There are no loud noises coming from the dash board - for now. Does anyone else have these in their Corolla?

I know that it isn't a BMW or Mercedes and might have such small imperfections. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Haha No sir. By the way, I did see a guy installing tracker in the showroom and these panels aren't detached and then attached again. The new Corolla doesn't have a typical dashboard. You can easily strip individual parts for installing tracker.

Stripping of the top of the dashboard is hardly a two minute job. These vents are a part of the top. Get them fixed/replaced in warranty. It's no big deal, with so many cars leaving the assembly each day, I am sure missing such small imperfections is going to be a very common entity among the Pakistani people.

Drove a friend's brand new Grande CVTi. What a car it is! I personally felt that the suspension is softer than GLi even on EuroStar tires, and as for the power, just a slight push of the pedal and off you gooo! The paddle shifters are a really nice thing to play with despite this being a family sedan. Overall a great car in all aspects!
The zero meter car is averaging 10 km/l and this is very reasonable in my view.

I have a habit of asking for comparisons. So how do you compare your Prius with Grande? Which is better and why?

I haven't driven it that long to make a fair comparison, but from what I experienced in the short drive I could come to a few conclusions.
    1. Prius is more agile than Grande, probably because mine is the Touring model.
    2. The engine power is really good and can't wait to test Grande head to head with my Prius, expecting a serious challenge to be honest I may even lose, let's be fair.
    3. Build quality is not up to the mark though. Lots of orange peel in the paint and the gloss isn't just there like it should be on a brand new car.
    4. The paddle shifters are a plus point but they are positioned a little too inside to be operated comfortably without stretching your hands.
    5. Ride height wise Grande is obviously better than Prius on rough roads or speedbumps but I like agility more than softness of the suspension.
    6. Grande has sunroof which my Prius doesn't but unless you get out of it every day it's just a shashka.

One thing that I noticed is that the leather seats although comfortable but they are sensitive in the way that even slight neglect over some time will wear off the leather rapidly from the seats and the steering wheel.

Overall I found it to be a nice car and the more I'll drive it the more legitimate comparison I would be able to do between the both.

In my view only if grande had beter road grip, climate control and beter paint work it would beat prius in most of the departments.

Fuel economy? Safety features? VSC/TC? LED headlamps? Headlamp washers? Comfortable seats? Speed-sensitive steering? Aerodynamics? All automatic windows? Prius is light years ahead at least of PKDM cars

To be honest haven't traveled in 9th Gen Civic that much and haven't driven it yet, but it failed to impress me as a passenger. While buying the Prius don't you think that I didn't have the option of buying a brand new Civic? I had but I went for Prius instead and that was indeed a very good decision! Let's see what the 10th Gen Civic has got for us.
