Haha. Tracker was installed inside dashboard in my se saloon. Maybe now the are installing somewhere else. I haven't seen where they installed in new gli.

To install tracker they simply strip off the beige strip of the dashboard. It is surprising how easily it comes off. The complete black strip around the center AC vents comes off. One doesn't need to remove the dashboard and bring it out. Everything is accessible by striping a few such panels. Makes me wonder how easily a thief can remove stuff and run away.

I don't know where they install the tracker but in the showroom car that I saw, everything was removed. The beige strip, the black strip, center AC vents, glove box, meanwhile the dashboard skeleton was still intact. The inside is mostly empty. It is similar to the empty space between the front bumper and the engine. Just pop the hood to see

I will go to the dealership and ask them to fix these. They may be small but who knows with time, the problem may escalate, and then there would be rattling. A car worth approx 18 lakhs shouldn't have such defects in the first place. Can't rely on Toyota alone anymore.

You are absolutely right, I was about to say that but then I didn't want to ruin @COOLTAHIR and others driving pleasure.. @itsgumby don't visit 3s at all, they don't have any solution to such minor noises until or unless there is something loose inside door panel or inside dashboard..
I have faced both these noises from left side but they comes in on specific unpaved roads..
It depends on what kind of roads you are on and how fast you drive on unpaved roads...
So people who think that they don't have such noise in their car, so they are lucky.. It's not like that.. Lol
Anyways I don't bother about such noises anymore, these are very minor ones.. Try to enjoy the ride, forget about such noises. They are going to increase with the passage of time.. So relax..

What is you guys take on this ?
I'm having same some tic tic noise from my left side door. It's like something got loose inside the left rare door or some place. I have done 21000 km. this noise started just week or two back.
