    Can you please share your experience of 4 speed auto transmission, on which rpm does it changes the gear ? 4 speed auto sounds like it will rev the engine.

    Bhai, didn't pay any specific attention to RPM:gear change ratio, but will try to do so later. As far as 4-speed super ECT automatic system is concerned, I was overwhelmed at the smoothness of gear shifting. The auto gears change so smoothly that hardly do you feel any jerk/shake. Before that, the only other auto I drove was a 2007 JDM Suzuki Kei, which was also a 4 speed auto but you used to feel considerable jerks/shakes as soon as the system changed gears but nothing like that in Altis 1.6 super ECT automatic system.

    Yes. Still 99% people prefer gli as many think that all corolla variants are the same and why pay extra. Grande is only preferred by corolla enthusiasts

    @increase in price of corolla....
    To all those who were suggesting pak wheels members to wait for 2016 corolla.... My suggestion to all such guys is that pl dont think too much about such minor things cz ul never know wat will happen in future.... if u want to buy a car just make up ur mind abt the variant and buy it as per ur req and enjoy ur car....ab un becharo ko extra paise de kr gari kharidne pre gi 2016 me jo ke wo plan kr rhe the save krne me...such a pity

    All variants look same from outside with slight variations. But fun begins after 1.3 variants

    Don't say this. Many corolla fans who own 1.3 variants will not digest this.

    I myself have driven 1.3 2NZ-FE for 10 years and believe me those extra 300 cc do make a significant difference in 1.6.

    Agreed. All variants of corolla are different this time.
    For everyday driving 1.3 is enough but for some fun one should consider the higher variants.

    Trust me on this, the routes I drive on in Islamabad be it 1.3 GLi AT or Prius 1.8 it makes no difference because in traffic you're stuck and can't to anything about it and even when I have to reach somewhere fast the GLi does the job pretty well Alhamdulillah
    And no I'm not a hypermiler in any way, any car I drive I prefer to floor it

    It's not about the power. With bigger engine the overall feel of the car changes. The car just becomes more smooth and response and all of this enhances the comfort and sporty level of the ride.

    I have 1000cc vitz as my daily driver previously I had 1500cc fielder. I almost follow the same route and drive at the same speed, but the difference is just day and night. The same speed which I used to reach on fielder was just calm and effortless and now the same speed in vitz is just hell noisy and car has to make a huge effort overall.

    I am not saying that lower engines are underpowered but they just don't add anything else to the ride rather than taking the driver from point A to B.

    If one has the budget and that particular persons says ' O chadoo jee grandiii te xli/gli de vich Koi faraq nahiii ' than that person is plain stupid and has no love for automobiles.
