Bhai, when I went to buy top cover and floor mats for my Altis 1.6. I was shown this very same dash board cover by the shop keeper. Though, I didn't go for it because he was asking 1,400 rupees for it :O. Does it really protect the dash board from being faded away too early?

    From 1.6 to 1.8 CVTi Grande = 350,000+25,000+10,000 = 385,000

    From 1.3 auto to 1.6 = 125,000+20,000+25,000 = 170,000

P.S. I am an accountant, so can't stop myself making these marginal cost comparison calculations

I'll post a pic of the entire dash then it would show that it really does look more graceful this way. And yes it does the dash from fading away and also protects it from any kind of scratches, dirt and stuff.

How much did it cost you? I was quoted Rs. 1,400 for the same. As my Altis 1.6 remains parked under shade most of the times, so I didn't go for it.

    Guys,
I am experiencing an issue with the audio in grande's android navigation system. The pattern being completely random, sometimes when I start the car and turn on the radio or music player, the volume gets extremely high and distorted even at the lowest volume setting. Then I go into the equalizer and change the setting to any other (pop/ rock/ jazz) and the volume gets normalized.
I read a fix for this in one of the 11th gen threads but somehow cannot find it now - I believe it was some kind of firmware upgrade of the device or something.
    Anyone on this, please.....

Have not tried Pirelli, so would not be able to comment but I used Bridgestone ECOPIA EP200 (Manufactured in 2015) on my new grande - actually did not have a choice before Eid day in the one shop I went to (which was open) and had to travel outstation. After driving almost 700 km on the new Ecopia, I did not feel any comfort and even the grip was a bit crappy so I had to again change the tyres (of course lost money this time) to Advan DB which are way way better in all aspects.
The idea of this particular post is that unless you drive like an 80 year old, stay clear from the ECOPIA

Your Android player amplifier is faulty, get it replaced under warranty from 3S.

Thanks for your replies cooltahir, itsgumbys and salash.
I would definitely give the mentioned options a try, if any one could suggest where to get the firmware updated from, though I'll try searching it on Rizwan bhai's thread as well.

The quality of dashboard cover I was shown was also excellent, but I didn't find the need to buy one. Wanted to see dashboard in its original form. Nevertheless, may the car serve you well. Drive safe and happy motoring
