Also, the gaps on both sides of the lid seem to be OK.

What's your take on this issue, sir? Should we Altis 1.6 owners live away with this minor right tail alignment issue?
Brother, this right side trunk misalignment issue is something I have seen in all variants of the 11th gen on the roads - whether they be Xlis, Glis, Altis 1.6 or Grande (same in my car).
I believe they have some kind of an assembly line/ manufacturing fault in their plants causing this issue. I think you should not worry about it much as most of the owners face it - or like autophile said until and unless it becomes a real eyesore (where you as well can plan the "shouting match"

Sure thing bro. I had been observing this issue since the launch of 11th generation Corolla, so also expected the same in mine as well. I am little worried about the steering alignment though. Will test it again to see how it goes. Thanks a lot for this encouraging reply

Bhai, since I am a filer, so total registration cost for Altis 1.6 was 50,370. Total cost for Altis 1.6 was 1,956,000+50,000+50,370 = 2,056,370.

I am facing a minor issue in my Altis 1.6. In order to check whether the steering is aligned properly. I took the car to 70-80 KMs/hr speed and then made the steering straight and left it to see if it was going straight or moving towards left or right. In the first instance, the car felt tilting towards left, then I held the steering again, made it straight, and then left it, and this time, the car felt moving towards right. Maybe, I wasn't able to place the steering in perfectly straight position, that's why the car was moving slowly towards left/right?

Nevertheless, I will once again try it this week end, In shaa Allaah, as my car's first free inspection is due in the first week of January 2016. Experts opinions about this issue are welcome, please. Thanks and regards.
Get the wheel alignment and balancing done. It is very less to link with tyre pressure. If the tyres are of less presure then you might feel steering abit hard. You might have hit the curb so thats y it needs alignment now but its not a big deal as every car has to suffer this. This is why it is advised to get alignment done after every six months. If you dont , it will affect the life of tyre.

Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Thanks a lot for this useful tip bhai. I will surely ask dealership to check tyre alignment, and balancing, and steering alignment as well on first free inspection due in January next year.

One thing, I noticed while driving Altis 1.6 today was the road noise produced with stock tyres. The tyres used to make grrrr sound while driving. Even though, I have driven Wagon R VXL with GT Radial Tyres (Made in Indonesia) on the very same roads, but the road noise was minimum. Is it the stock tyres, which are culprit or some thing else? Thanks in advance.

I still feel little noise while driving my corolla. Cant compare euro tyres as i have changed tyres just after purchase.

I am comparing with my mira es. Its completely soundless on roads.

Tahir bhai or Nabeel bhai, koi sasta mashwara bhi dey do bhaio is noise of Kama say kam rakhnay ka. Which tyres would be suitable within limited budget of 10K? Euros have hardly run 364 KMs.
