LOL. Bhai I own both and i am sure you don't own either of them. LOL again. Corolla Altis is a tons better car in the PKDM 1.8L segment. Except for its slightly greater truck height suspension at the rear. Both look like trucks. But at least altis is not fugly and can be improved by tasteful modifications.

What I LOL hard upon are the worse-than-mehran BS ugly tail lamps and the fact that I have to pay 80k for navigation, 65k for fake leather bulls#it which dies in two years on an invoice price that is already higher than altis. The nearly naked wheel cup bearing base model... LOL.

Taking of the quality, well both are PKDM. I often drive an S class parallel to these both and I know what I am saying. Just look at the number of people complaining chu chu chak tak pick pak sounds in the fan club. I had to get the power window switch panels changed under a free *upgrade* LOL cz they lost their stupid color. I had to get the dashboard opened 2 times to get rid of the chewy sounds that came under warranty.

Just amazed at the ultimate foolish and stupid baseless reviews you keep on posting here no matter how much bezzti you have to face in return when people ask you to stop creating war zones. Go screw your realities and facts. Let people stay calm and positive here.

Enjoy your phatta 1.5 city and beat 1.8L all day long while people cruise in comfortable 1.6 Altis and enjoy fuel economy. Just leave this thread or at least stop misguiding everyone. Peace!

Lagta hai kuch zyada hi lag gai hai

Why should i leave this thread?

I'm not misguiding anyone. Fact will remain fact. Many corolla owners have the same feelings which i have shared.

My only point was that IMC took 6 month to deliver a single car. Still customers get issues in their cars.

Do you think that they build a car in six months? At least this is the impression I am getting from your statement above.

Depends on the variant. Grande is available within 30 days, 1.6 in four months. Obviously Corolla has such a huge demand a customer turn comes after six months for 1.3 variants.

Took my Altis 1.6 to highway today and drove some good 40 KMs. I was driving at around 120-130 KMs/hr speed when I was honked from behind to give side to overtake. I gave the car side to overtake, and it was a GLI auto driving at about 140 KMs/hr speed with simple ease. Since, my Altis 1.6 has merely run 200 KMs so far, so don't prefer flooring it to high speeds, but when the road became clear, I pushed the throttle down a bit to test the acceleration power of 1.6 cc 1 ZR-FE engine, and was well able to overtake GLI auto with quite ease at around 140-150 KMs/hr but since engine was new, so I avoided flooring it at high speeds.

Moral: The purpose of writing this excerpt is to testify that GLI auto is certainly not an underpowered car. It may be sluggish while leaving the mark, but can achieve commendable acceleration with ease, notwithstanding the old 1.3 cc engine being used in it.

You cant say 1.3 underpowered but without any doubt 1.6 will be better than 1.3 and 1.8 will be better than both.

Lol. You are right but 1.3 auto vs 1.6 is a long debate. Even i was thinking to change to 1.6 but i gave 1.6 a try. There is not a lot of difference in drive but if you take it as paying 125000 extra with alloys, lcd and other features is ok.

2NZ-FE is a nice engine. Has the power when needed coupled with nice fuel economy.

And you'll also get bigger and more powerfull engine, you can install alloys and lcd but you can't increase it's power, there's basically the difference of 1.3 vvt-i and 1.6 dual vvt-i.

At the end the decision will be yours.
