Which i am sure you and others are not going to do it, on 10th generation civic thread people are drooling on new civic as if we are going to get the exact same car in terms of quality. everybody know the fate of that car quality wise and spec wise. Honda is going to rip it off or else they will give you the sky high price, Which you will be obliged to pay.
Everybody is dying to pay 25-27 lacs for that car.
Who is going to say "No", Sorry i am not going to pay such an insane price.
Even people are ready to buy 10th generation civic with current R18 engine. They just want new "DABBA" to show off.
No offence to anyone, just expressed my view points.

Is there any option of Over Drive (OD) in Altis 1.6? I used to drive a JDM Suzuki Kei in which OD option was available?

No "over drive" option present in 1.6.
By the way 1.6 remains in an overdrive mode all the time..😜😜😜

I was wondering if someone is encountering this squeeky type of noise from all the doors as if things are loose (have not been able to pinpoint though) whenever I drive my car on some bumpy roads (i.e. with potholes) and even when crossing the speed breakers at slightly higher speeds - have driven the car almost 3000 km and already feels like an old vehicle.
Seems like it may need some sort of padding from the inside of the doors or wherever the noise is coming from.
    Thanks

That's normal.. Ignore it, nothing can be done about it.. Most of us don't even feel it, but it's present in every car.. It only depends on what kind of roads we drive on, it's just a matter of time. Everyone will start hearing such sounds.
People who drive on highways don't feel such noises, so chill bill😎😎

Sir, does the noise feel like as if the mirror of the window is loose from the top? As if it is not supported and moves here and there when driven upon bumpy roads?

    AoA Pakweehlers,

After long long wait my GLi was ready today for delivery. I sent the insurance guys to inspect the car and they called me from dealer showroom and informed that the car is damaged. There are scratches on the bumper and fender. On my inquiry the dealer admitted that the car was being hit by another car while offloading. I plainly refused to take car delivery and asked for the car replacement. The dealer is now in correspondence with the regional office of Indus Motors and will inform me tomorrow. There is a possibilty that they offer change of bumper and fender. I am not even sure if they can even change fender. I would like to ask you guys what are the options I have provided that I am in urgent need of car and literally on foot these days :-/

I am looking forward to hearing some suggestions.

    JazakAllah

If scratch is small ask the dealer to make it better and take the car , if u get your car repaired , be ready to spend a good week , then again you wont get a new car but this will be repaired tight at that 3s , better to agree right now and get it repaired and get the car if its not something too major

Adeel bhai, I am not really sure as the noise comes from both the left and right sides of the car - my best guess till now is either from inside the doors or from somewhere near the roof or seat belt area adjacent to the doors

Really difficult to trace though... I think the plastic contracts in winter nd produces more noise... It might disappear in summers... And as per my guess eventually plastic will settle down nd noises may disappear. Yes I am being optimistic here.. ☺

Ask them to repair the car, as you have paid for transportation fees which includes insurance. As its there fault they should repair the car and provide a courtesy car until it's ready.
