The auto policy is still in draft mode and even when it is announced, manufacturers will be given four five years to put all those immobilisers, air bags and climate controls etc. So get it now before they increase price again because dollar is rising.

I would take the Feb delivery. Hardly unlikely to get manger changes perhaps some cosmetic changes.

This sound is unnoticeable when braking at higher speeds also noting that this sound starts coming after driving the car for about 2 to 3 minutes i.e. after applying a few brakes.
I raised this issue up at the 5000 km checkup where the mechanic said it was due to some plate which he pulled back into place, but the noise did not go away. I took it to the senior mechanic again the next day at Toyota Rawal who checked the front wheels completely using a dial gauge to check the rotor surface as well, all of which was fine - discs pads had plenty of the "ceramic" braking material available as well.
I would be taking it again to the workshop but anyone having any clues as to what can be the problem here.
    Thanks in advance
same problem with my 1.8 cvti :/,and I think its the rear right side brakes, anyone here knows the reason??

Asad sb, did you get it checked by some authorized 3S center? I am unable to understand what is causing this sound as the wheels seem fine. On my next visit, would get the rear wheels inspected in detail as well.

In that mode car goes to only 3 gears max,
You can engage that by pushing the leaver to the right when in D.
for example if you are in 4th gear and you turn it into the 3 mode (by pushing the leaver right) the car turns into third gear, Just like turning a manual car from 4th to third.

or if you have selected the 3 mode from start the car goes to 3 gears max (4th gear wont engage)
The guy at toyota rawal instructed me to not do this (changing from d to 3) to overtake and to just press the gas more as you press the gas more car changes to lowest gear possible at that speed

According to my experience, when u are climbing, you can put your car at D as it will shift wherever it is comfortable but it not the case when coming down the hills. You need to shift gear to 2 or L or if you keep it on D it will change the gear automatically and accelerate i.e. Dangerous. L or 2 is to increase the braking of car.

When coming down the slope, always try to control car with gears not brakes.
