Its better to use taglon 5w-50? I was thinking to go for zic 5w-20 or 0w-30.

What do u recommend? My odo is 19000 km and gli a/t variant.

Bro i wanted to change oil becoz 0W30 is too thin and is like water. So it will create some wear and tear over high rpms.So 5W50 Taglon is best till now.Engine is smooth than before.

The back view camera of my Altis 1.6 also gives this very same result. I feel its normal as the last red line is enough to give you a fair judgement of the beginning of back bumper.

By making bumper visible in the scree, you will waste precious screen area ...it will show as a black strip
Use the guidelines...back up till the bottom most red line..and your bumper will be 4" from the obstacle in rear

I have some questions for Altis 1.6.
    a. since it is 4 speed automatic, how is drive?do you feel some jerk while change of gear and how much pronounce is it?

    b. does car feel requiring a 5th gear at speeds above 150?

    c. is it same engine that was inside 10th gen Altis cruisetronic?

owners of Altis 1.6 are requested.

    Thanx

    a. It drives very smooth, hardly feel any jerk in shift.

    b. I have taken it to 170 and it was effortless and I could go beyond that, but decided not to.

    c. Yes same engine

Size and dimensions are same. However quality and finishing are definitely not at par with USDM version.

Hi Octane a.k.a Hi Octane Blending Component (H.O.B.C) is merely supposed to be used as a mixture in most cars and will slightly improve mileage, fuel economy if the engine has a high compression ratio that specially or specifically requires that high research octane number. In my opinion there is no need for a 100% HOBC use in a GLi but mixing 50% or 40% or 20% ratio will be suggested for smooth driving. But if you have a heavy foot nothing will change and fuel economy nor ratio wont matter.

In short there is no need for 100% refilling in your case, but no matter you can try and see if it suits you. I personally used and tried it and got no better results in my Axio X-Grade CVT 2007 (1NZFE) and Altis 1.6 2015 A/T (1ZRFE) in the city and highway with 100% HOBC, but on the highway mixing 20 to 40% of it increased mileage by 1-2km/l but was slightly heavy on the pocket.

GLi (2NZFE) requires Regular / Normal Petrol and mixing HOBC "may" help, but not on 100% HOBC. The rest depends on your patience and deep pockets.

HOBC almost cost the same what premium use to cost last month. There is approx Rs. 135 difference if you fill 30 liters.
    No need of deep pocket

Default 11th Generation Toyota Corolla Pakistan

Guys on Sunday after washing my car, I did notice something which caught my attention..
My cars front left brake rotor has three deep lines as compare to right brake rotor..
Should I be concerned and get it checked?
Have a look at the picture below and let me know.
    Thx
PS: car has done 2500km so far.
