I want to change my oil for my Grande (1st change at 1000 kms). Which oil should I choose? Toyota Taglon 5W-50 Fully Synthetic or Mobil 1 0W-40 Fully Synthetic?
I confirmed from Toyota, if choose any other oil rather than Toyota's then my warranty will be void.

What should I do? Is Toyota oil good?

Btw dear Pakwheelers I need some help.. I have done some changes in the lightning system of my corolla, I changed the oem fog bulbs and got installed 55 watts hid's in it (no they do not make the person on the other side blind because I've made the adjustment in such a way that the lights just fall on the road ) they did work fine for a few days sometimes the left light worked when the switch was turned on the second time. But yesterday when I turned the lights on nothing happend and the lights didn't work I did some homework and realised that the fuse is blown up bought a new fuse today morning replaced it and turned the lights on and again the fuse got blown. Now what should I do? Should I take it to toyota or some desi electric guy or change the fuse again with a larger rating this time like 15A? The fuse placed by the company was 10A and the HID's I installed were 55watts 8000k. Don't remember how much watts were the oem fog bulbs. Please guys help!!
    Thanks in advance

Bro why are you getting your oil changed at 1000 km? The oil can bear upto 5000 as per my knowledge btw if you are still getting it changed go for Mobil 1 5W 50 don't for taglon because as I have experienced it makes the car a bit heavier and the fuel consumption also increases don't know but did happend with me after I switched from mobil to taglon

Only Grande variants' price has been increased by Rs. 60K, which means only Grande will be getting immobilizer, climate control, and one more air bag for front passenger. The 1.8 non grande/base Altis variants' price has been increased by Rs. 25K, which means they won't be getting all those three goodies mentioned above. In case of Civic, both base and oriel models come equipped with immobilizer, front passenger plus driver airbag and climate control. Correct me if I am wrong, please.

Civic current and upcoming model have immoblizer in all varients which is the most needed thing in a car worth more than 20 lac. Unfortunately all the corolla owners from xli to grande having lack of immoblizer.

1.6 altis price is increased by 43.5k from 1972000 to 2015500 i think it should definitely get something. There is nothing yet on website, old prices are still there.

Yes you just need a slightly bigger fuse. However if u keep fog lights on all the time then relays need to be installed.

With 35 watts hids 15A fuse works perfect. With 55 watts hids relays are a better option. I'd say change your hids to 35 watts

What i can understand from information and news available so far abt upgrades is that Prices are being increased from 20k to 60k on deliveries starting from 1st May 2016.. Immobilizer to be provided in all variants.. Gli may get keyless entry as well whereas top of the line Altis Grande to get maximum goodies that will be Climate Control, Jack Knife Key, Additional airbag on front passenger side along with Immobilizer

If you want to keep warranty go for Toyota Japan tin box 5w-30 fully synthetic which is imported from japan.

If you want to go for other than toyota oil , go for liqui moly 5w-30 or Mobil 1.

If vehicle is operated at higher speeds like on motorway and long routes very frequently then choose 5w-40. Liqui moly or mobil 1 , brand is your own choice.

Never go for 5w-50 by toyota. It is heavier for the engine causing the engine to use more power to move and hense fuel average will decrease.
