Just a suggestion do consider yokohama ECOS, Blue Earth A or Advan DB this time. u will surely find any of these better than Euros.

I know . Have used Jap tires, they feel good initially and later soon become hard, noisy and lose grip.

Euros are fine on both good and bad roads and last for ages. In our office cars they normally change after 85,000 kms and those cars are always travelling in different cities, villages, mountains, deserts across Pakistan. Not a single tire related issue in past 13 years.

Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

Yokohama never lost grip or became hard at my side, used db and advan db for like 70k km. No complaints; However, eurostar isn't a soft tyre. It's a real hard tyre that gives your car's suspension some real hard time over "khadda"

Plus the biggest problem of Euro is its terrible road noise. On a plain road it's just ear cancer!!

if they launch turbo than price will be upto 30 lakhs. Also, model change after 4 years is strange. Chances are there that there will be a facelift instead of a new shape.
Face-lift? Seriously? Through car avaliable with a new front is the actual face-lift that was avaliable from September last year. The same was avaliable in Thailand. Came out around exactly 3 years later as it should.

I've said it again I'm saying it again their is no civic in Pakistan this year. Honda atlas will not change the shape before the life cycle

Honda brio how ever is on cards this year.

Corolla will get a face-lift next year when civic might be launched.

Although civics 6 year cycle completes in 2018 but they might launch the civic in 2017.

7th gen came in 2001 and 8th gen came in 2006, 9th generation came in 2012. So fingers crossed.

Sorry for discussing civic in this forum
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

I never faced that issue when I used them in my GLI.
It's a good tyre, but only for those who like hard tyres

Compare it side by side with advan db. You will understand what I am saying.

No brio is coming this year. This all is false news. And civic is coming very soon this year. For a second forget Thailand. Just focus on Pakistani market.
The other day I was at Toyota Walton and I asked it's owner why have you updated corolla. His reply was that civic is coming very soon and us ne corolla ko kahi ka nahi chorrna.
No matter how hard you try it will come!!!!!

Neither do I run toyota indus nor honda atlas.

But both companies work with their regional heads in Thailand and take orders from them. They cannot change a light bulb with their will. They are only assemblers in Pakistan

I just took delivery of january invoiced GLI Auto a week back. However, after driving it around a bit I found a strange issue of high engine sound while driving with windows closed.

The sound is very much noticeable and it is quite clear even when driving around city with normal foot. The sound is engine's rev which I guess is common of corolla engines. The issue is that its quite loud (in my perspective) when driving around. It is annoying.

I want to ask you people, if this sound is normal to all 11gen corollas or I should go to 3s?

The problem is the car you have bought.
It's a bigger body with a smaller engine.
Every car will make noise when revving the engine. That sound you're talking about is mainly coming from the silencer.
1.3 2nzfe makes a "phatta hua dhol" like sound.
It's normal. Also, underpowered car will make more noise because engine will need to do more work to pull this body.

Agreed , secondly if you take it on steep roads or northern area it struggles up there . 1.6 or 1.8 has no such issue as far as power / weight ratio goes . Corollas have been known for their powerful 1.8 engines always !

Pardon me if the question is naive ... isn't it that one can get almost new imported corolla for 25-30 lacs? If true then why spend 25 lacs or more to get a Pakistan assembled model with inferior features, performance and everything else
