When ignition is switched off the immobilizer lights keep blinking to let the thief know that the car will not start by hot wiring with the current set of ecu and the key receptor column.

Some trims carry a transparent sticker on bottom left of both front window glass.

Tracker is not needed after immobilizer, the insurance companies have tonlearn it.

These days the tracker is just like a any other extra accessory which engages and disengages the ecu power supply upon recieving the sms/mms from the controling host. Also it sms back its LAT and Long coordinates to host to locate it these coords are reflected on google maps to show the cars approx position. Some have added featurea of glass break and driving style records.

    But basic functions remain same.

Even without immobilizer, tracker is just an outdated useless thing as most of thieves come equipped with jammers.

Insurance is good in any scenario, accident, snatching on gunpoint. Now be ready for Corollas being snatched on gunpoint after immobilizers, so keep the insurance handy.

Insurance companies cannot force you to get tracker. I never let them put it in my Altis.

I topped up fuel again with 44.8liters. So that means my average will be approx 16.7km/l. You forget to minus reserve fuel from calculation.

Not a biggie. Your steering cross is broken. Get it replaced. About 1,000 rs kharcha and half an hour job. Company would quote 16,500 rupees. Personal experience.

150K or 200K must include the tax as well. 75K is the ON money while if you are a filer then 75K more else 150K more. Which showroom is charging 150-200K without the tax?

sorry dear but ur reply is quite confusing .... please note that when u buy corolla u pay tax before car delivery (filer or non filer) ... the mkt ON is not dependent on filer status if u paid more tax the buyer will get car where it is cheaper .. just clarifying .. I will get stats of ON price from mkt today and will share here
