Mine is cruisetronic, it have tiptronic, but as far I can say from my experience, just put it on D and floor the pedal. It will go faster than you think of doing that on paddle shifters or tiptronic

As far gear shifts are concerned, cvt is way better, responsive and powerful than going on tiptronic or paddleshifters. I already test drove grande and chose cruisetronic because I didn't need paddleshifters.
Thank you for the details. I cant wait to get both Grande and Civic X and try them out. The seats are comfortable?

Changed tyres to yokohama advan db as I needed new tyres for my gli (eurostars for that :p)
Installed chrome lined air press, kenwood at fhe back and jbl componenets at the front. Denso HID at the high light.
Osram nighbreakers at the low and fog, philips nightvision 5w at the parking. Changed all the headlights fuse to 20amps from 10amps, and all that is left on to do list are seatcovers ;-)

Abhi to 200 karna hai yaar. Btw it was a part of break in, pushed it to 180 two times and than came to zero. After that, it jumped from 14.5 to 15.8 when I took an exit at khanewal from M4
that group was boring. Half of them were talking about something else instead of corolla. Kisi ko apnay abu ki audi ya vezel yaad ajati thi to kisi ko prius wala ups. Choro bhai Pakwheels hi acha hai.

Congratulations to all the new owners and I hope these cars serve you well.A few words of wisdom (I would like to think of it as wisdom as least).

1, HID's in reflector housings are a nightmare for oncoming traffic, please do not do that.

2, Speed limits are there for a reason, I would be really interested in knowing safety ratings for a PKDM corolla (they might not be similar to Euro or USDM corollas) but I am sure it would not be very reassuring.

3, Aftermarket products are nice but in my personal opinion (and because a Corolla is considered as an upmarket, nearly aspirational vehicle in Pakistan) they ruin the look of a car.

Just my two cents of contribution, happy and safe driving.
    Let the good times roll

Many investors book their cars and sell for On once they reach showroom. You need to find those.

Sir i observed an improvement in milage displayed by the meter after getting high octane instead of normal petrol. Just an observation.

    Thought should be shared.

I too experimented with 100%, 50%, 40%, 30% hi octane and it did show improvement in mileage initially but in few days it came back to real mileage.

I have observed that idling consumes more fuel than ac and using ac while stuck in traffic, waiting in parking and using ac drops the mileage reading suddenly.

100% agree, HID and pressure Horn should be Banned at once, no questions asked. They do more harm than good!

I usually reach to the point when I start cursing on the incoming car with HID or from behind coming in Full beam with frequent dippers to clear their way, but refrain from cursing as I consider it bad as well. Similarly those having Pressure horns consider themselves as they own the road I literally hate them, Pressure horn give exactly the same meaning if you are saying someone HUT NA SALAY instead of politely saying "Mujhe raste dijiye ga".
