I own Altis CVT 1.8 new and improved model which have same infotainment system as that of Grande and it's detachable. I installed sound system and the first thing electrician did was to detach it so that there won't be any scratches on it

So, should i go for a COROLLA Altis 1.8 cvt or a Honda CIVIC 10th gen? Considering that I will drive carelessly as i usually do.

Secondly, how's the drive of Altis 1.6 as compared to Altis 1.8 cvt?
I'm more of a Civic fan but for what you mentioned, go blindly with Corolla. City is much tougher than Civic when it comes to rough use. Civic's need lot of care so it's not for the kind of usage you mentioned. For massive beating and harsh treatment Corolla is superior than any other option.

Yes, all Altis 1.8 have same meter same steering wheel. Grande variants have sunroof, climate control, height adjustable seats (with leather), rain sensor and paddle shifter/auto fold mirrors on lock-unlock only in grande cvt-i.

I was also going for Grande manual, but at the last moment changed my decision to Altis cvt-i and I'm loving it.

I prefer manual, so 1.8 altis would be the best buy? Saved money can be used to buy goodies. Would you recommend bronze mica?

Your choice but go for Grande. It has goodies that to me are worthy specially dual airbags, seat height adjuster, auto folding mirrors , leather seats and steering and climate control.
And yea go for bronze mica ... it's a fantastic color.

Just making sure haha, I've short listed so many options i swear I'm confused. I await the civics launch, otherwise im pretty sure about this one. IA.
Im 6 so i don't think height adjustment would do any good?
Auto folding mirrors can be bought from aftermarket. Dual airbags and climate control are however tempting. I will ask my family for suggestions.

All Altis 1.8's have the same multi information display. By the way, try going for gun metallic grey instead of bronze mica, it'll look great and the new grey rims would suit the colour of the rest of the car as well.

I also preferred manual for my whole life, and this was my first auto. Believe me CVT never let you feel underpowered or delay.

I won't recommened it, I was going for medium silver or bronze mice as well. All of the sudden medium silver was gone. I called the dealership that what the fish is this? Dealership was like we have introduced 1D4 now, and I was like "you can paint walls with that"
Sales manager told me that yeh "mausami" rang hain aatay jaatay rehtay hain. Go for superwhite as it distinguish Altis from Gli. All other colors are available in Gli except superwhite.

I know there is a lot of superwhite, but people buy that which looks good and distinguish there car from others. Well, superwhite has got these qualities
