Listen Bro. You maybe a senior Pakwheeler but that doesn't mean Honda isn't full of Jarheads, it's not a mere thing that only 1.5T has hi octane issue. It's a big issue when they are launching a new civic, and the top line variant is limited to drive in big cities of Pakistan only.
Please avoid the "lol" type of argument and move on bro.

Just for info: previously as well i did not once try to start a debate. Correction of an info is something else. It wasn't a comparison.
Bro, first of all. Pakwheels is a public forum and everyone and anyone has the right to participate, share info and comment staying within boundaries of decency and without getting emotional.
Secondly, please don't get defensive and consider yourself owner of this thread. Pinpointing other members just because they are correcting info isn't appreciated at these forums. Information should be honest.
Thridly, information shared at Pakwheels as per all rules of the site and its forum nowhere promotes misleading facts and correction of information has nothing to do with someone owning a Honda or a Toyota.
Kindly stay away from such grouping, this is a site meant for knowledge of everyone. It is not a "COROLLA OWNERS ONLY" or a "COROLLA VS CIVIC" forum and doesn't mean anything can be said correct or wrong other than a specific car for which a specific thread is available.
Misleading facts are not promoted here, because people are actually here to take things into consideration.

yes its completely unbelievable but still a fact. calculated full tank to full tank method. hypermilling not so much. just not accelerating a lot.

Alright, I never said anything like this to you as you are explaining.
Oh, you're that type of person. The one who thinks that he's always right. Oh yes, you know what keep that kind of stuff to yourself, just don't dish it out if you can't dish it in.
Getting my point, no? No worries man you're always right.
Are you on a payroll from Honda or what?
I'm sharing my view and outta nowhere you started arguing like diehard fan of Honda, if you wanna argue than argue on basis of facts instead of running in circles and keep saying "I'm right"

Listen brother, just because I'm correcting a simple fact and saying "1.5 Civic only uses hi-octane" and "1.8 Civic uses normal fuel" has nothing at all to do with me proving to be right or trying to create a comparison or creating an argument"
Which you are extending for no reason and don't even like that i posted any such thing in the first place. Rest your choice if you want to act this way.

And bro, I think you're all wrong.
This thread is specific for Toyota corolla 11th generation. I think you misunderstood it by civic.
Also, i've shared facts of top line variant of civic from beginning of your time. You're the one saying and defending 1.8 civic is civic. O paye mein kab kaha hai k nae hai?

    aye mate?
I knew it from day one that 1.5t runs on high octane and 1.8 on normal.

Trust me some might actually take this suggestion of a new comparison thread seriously.
Imagine the heat that will take place.

Sometimes while turning the car, the steering wheel stops after full swing and thak sound is produced.
I've a question that does it cause any damage to steering assembly? Is there any protection there?

PS: Steering doesn't hit vigorously, it hits just in normal turning force applied.

When the booking order arrives at the dealership, does one have to go there to fill out some paperwork?

If you are talking about the sound that a car creates when steering is in a full lock position, for that it is usually as a practice better to note the turning position of steering at lock and try avoiding the last hit. Better stop 5-10% in an earlier position.
Though it cannot necssarily harm the steering rack, ends or axles but in the longer run may increase possibility of a reduced lifespan of moving components. Better to avoid

One advice: try to spin the steering wheel slow.
