Sorry, I didn't notice, my bad. Yeah sure, no more tyre discussion here. Euro stars can be discussed though, since the Corolla is equipped with them.

I'm in Islamabad, but it's okay I know a shop "Japan Tyres" in G-6/3, this guy had a good variety of tyres and reasonable prices too.

    Haha...

Yes Euros qualify for discussion and if at all you want to get rid of Euros then in my opinion go for Yokohama Advans eyes closed. Rest all in the middle are gap fillers to the sequence.

^^I will surely try Yokohama Advan DB's, since many of you find them to be good tyres. (Btw, I can't quote your post, do you know what the problem could be?)

Something is wrong with Pakwheels at the moment. System is not working properly. Post refresh preview and quoted are not available. Picture loading also problematic.

Yes do try Advan DB eyes closed you will fall in love with them and more with the drive of your car.

Suggestions on lowering grande using TRD springs ?

Please comment on the practicality and drive and stability
And also mention if lowering the car will create a lot of problems with pot holes or speed bumps. A little problem is manageable as we also manage with civic.

I read reviews of a couple of advan db owners saying the tyre is good but too damn soft and that it forms bubbles if hit at a "khadda".. i guess being too soft explains why everyone say they are noiselss but i also agree with those owners when they say it can be damaged easily... anyone with any such experience?

Additionally its a general rule that softer tyres generally tend to have a bit weaker grip.. how is the grip of advan dbs? obviously not brand new ones but say 20k or 30k driven..

Oh and sorry to strike off the tyre debate again..

Best size wud obviously be what comes from the company but increasing from 15 to 16 inches i personally think wud not hurt the mileage if you go for the right tyre size aswell.

Yes there are good rim brands out there besides the chinese crap.. these include Vossen and also Lenso..

People usually recommend Yokohama Advan DB as a very noiselss and good quality tyre so i wud recommend you the same as long as you buy them from an authorized or trusted dealer.. otherwise if you go for michellins or pirellis or continentals, they too will be good tyres.. and they will be much better than the stock Euros u get..

If ur car wobbles with good quality rims and tyres, get it balanced.. the wobbling shud go away..

Even better than the branded rims are original oem ones from any other model. Such as 16s from a JDM Premio for example. Importers do order 16 rims that are Oem from other countries.

Yes.. People usually change to other rims because they either dont like the design of the OEM rims or want to go for larger sized rims or both reasons together..

If you do not have a problem with the design and size of the OEM rims, then i would suggest you only get better tyres..
