Is the "happy to see the civic" smile or "happy to see that the Civic is so pathetic" smile?

New CiviC's shape is like a clown and after its launch its pathetic too,

For Pakistan ppl who bought new Corolla's or are in process to own one are making a perfect decision for their next 8years.

    GRANDE OWNERS PLEASE COMMENT.

i am experiencing vibrations in steering and floor of the car at 2.5 to 3k rpms. If i rev it above 3k rpms the vibrations go away. The vibrations are also slightly noticable in the steering on idle.

is it normal? The car is just 70kms driven.

Well, I found the Civic's design very beautiful and was planning to book one, but the lack of features and poor quality has put me off.

For vibration in steering, get ur wheel balancing checked up. It will fix it.

I have experienced the same issue in 3 different GLIs. ... 2011 to 2014. One of them was mine which I got zero meter... The noise developed over time and was not present in the beginning.
you can feel the slight vibration in the steering, floor and in brake paddle too during RPM ranges 2.2 to 3.5. It's as if engine is not smooth and becomes grindy in this range. If you put your car in idle.. put both hands on steering wheel in a quiet environment slowly press the accelerator... you can feel it coming on and going away in this range. After or before this range the engine is as smooth as silk
Sadly I couldn't figure out the problem. ... but my guess is that it has something to do with resonance between engine, its foundations and fixing bolts ..... Some of the techies here might be able to comment better.
Do get it checked from your dealer and let me know too.

I dont know about corolla but I experienced the same problem in my cultus. After changing 2,3 mechanics who all proposed very complex and different reasons it was revealed that its just because of a loose nut located just below the engine...... got it fixed and it never happened again

I sold my grande on March. Now going for civic. Civic build quality is good, mashaa allah. The the following things I don't like civic about civic:
    1. Carpet cover missing in side the trunk
    2. Ground clearance
    3. Back middle seat and cornering plastic.
    4. Over priced 1.5 for at least one lac.
    5. No auto rain sensor.
    6. Blue cluster should be in 1.5.
    7. Paddle shifter should be available as option in 1.8 trim.

But anyhow, in pakistan cars are overpriced due to heavy taxes on imported parts.

Exactly this is what i am experiencing. I feel a resonance running through the car's body and i can feel it in the steering wheel, the floor and the seats.
To put it in layman term ( gaari me gooonj mehsoos hoti hai 2.5k to 3k rpms ).
when i showed it to my brother his words were and i quote " ye to aise goonj rahe hai jese 125 ko full race di ho ."

i will be visiting toyota on monday and if this thing is built in corollas then my car will be on sale by the evening.

    highly disappointed right now.

Keep on Checking it till 1000kms, and when you go for the free service than ask them to look into engine mounts, this can be the issue of engine mounts
