It will not take any major modifications in the current shape. Front fenders and hood and rear will remain same. In front they just replace the existing bumpers and lights, frill and rear lights. Inside if any just a new dash, so they are in a position for early changes or add more features at added price as the market has a lot of appetite.

IMC has always been selling huge numbers and they do not need to change, had that been the case all variants except Xli would not have got all the goodies like climate control, jack knife key, immobiliser, dual air bag, new Imid in Grande and immobiliser in 1.6 with two more speakers (total six), mud flaps (in all variants).

Still worth waiting in my opinion.
When i took delivery of my Grande last month i was told we might see 16inch alloys, electric seats and push start as they are already present in Thailand model around November.

Earlier they might not have feared Civic as its sales were not much, but now it has hit Pakistan like a craze.
IMC have also seen the prices of CIVIC so ready for it too.

I highly doubt that they are going to make changes in next couple of months as we have recently seen changes in corolla lineup. Why will they bother now?

Sometimes they do change thing because they stop getting a particular part. For instance in 2005 Jan I got my Xli and the surprise was RPM meter (It was only given in Gli at that time), second surprise was remote control for cassette/radio (it was only given in Gli). I asked the dealer that how come RPM meter has been given in this car. He said Sir woh meter khatam hogai factory abb new lot ma saaray RMP walay arahay hayn. Note: rear lights were not changed then to LED, nor room cooler type grill was there.

Given new features would be more beneficial to IMC as it will increase the price for those features. It would make more profit per unit as well as increased sales further.

It does not need to invest anything as Thailand Corolla has all the stuff like push start, electric seats, projector lamps, smart entry etc.

Rims are sure going to be changed to 16 soon also.

My point is just two months ago IMC have given some goodies. So, how can you expect some more changes in this short time of period? Relax bro, it's not gonna happen soon. You have to wait atleast 1 year for this. IMC making their profits and thats what matter for them!

Those who have recently purchased or sold a car please suggest. Preferably lahore (punjab) guys as Karachi has different rates of used cars. Have finalised a Grande CVTi, model 2015, Lahore registered driven 16k, first owner dealership maintained, no touching. One bumper painted. The guy is yet at 23.5 and I have offered him 23.0 suggest because have to finalise this specific car tomorrow.

The Corolla has great resale and reputation the world over, not just in Pakistan, for many good reasons.
