Another thing which people said gimmick : Rain sensing wipers i found it to be reliable enough during rain on Motorway. Instead of constantly adjusting speed and turning on and off wipers , i just set it to Auto and it worked good enough

Also, that engine braking with 1.8 works superb. Its so responsive.
I would suggest you to drive it on paddleshifters occasionally for proper engine run-in. Toyota doesn't do any run-in for new engines coz they don't have time for that. Did the same, drove it for like 100km after every 300km on tiptronic upto 2000km.

Masha Allah, good color. Maintain it with quality products and right method. It's shine will outclass every other ordinary corolla in strong blue.

This is a great decision. Not going with the flow blind folded......

After the introduction of useless 1D4 silver, super white is the best choice imo.
Now I'll love to see that how you bring out the shine from white color by your amazing detailing skills.

Your detailed altis played an important role in my selection of medium silver and if you get the same results from super white then it'll be a strong contender for me whenever I get a new ride (Altis hopefully).

    Allah mubarak karay.

I have never been this much Co fused in my whole life. Whether I should get grande cvt or oriel civic. Both have their own flaws but damn 😭 Earlier, ditching 9th gen civic was easy when we went for corolla. Buy now it's difficult. Only if corolla didn't go bonkers with rear elevation, it would have been an easy decision.

Need expert opinion regarding peddle shift of Grande.
While going steep uphill or downhill should we shift to M or D gear?
To change from D to M, should the vehicle be first brought to stand still or we can shift while it is running. .

You can change to any gear while driving between N D & M.
While going uphill grande can easily go in D mode or you can also use M mode but for driving uphill or downhill usually M is used

Congratulations. Looking so stunning Masha Allah. 1.6 in great demand these days and availability has gone to Dec/Jan. Indus has discontinued gun metallic colour and I saw this blue in showroom yesterday, surely it attracts attention, was looking elegant and different. Drive safe.

This time I was too hell bent to buy the new Civic. One of my friend who has a City also had some intentions and we both went to see Civic and soon made the decision to pass this Civic for the time being as the build quality was pathetic. Though overall shape and interior are fine, but too many loose ends in this car now.

When I was making pay order in the bank, even the manager said sir why are you not buying Civic? I took out my mobile and showed him pix and he said sir dunya to pagal ho rahi hay iss kay peechay.

Danish bhai if you want a reliable, durable, comfortable family car go for Grande. If you want to tell others look I have got a new civic, then civic.

Sure. Thankyou. I will visit showroom one last time in the coming week and afterwards I will make a decision. I am fine with the quality issues, they are always in Pakistani rides but civics congested rear and low ground clearance is really an issue for me. Though I badly want civic this time coz I have last two gens corolla already.

Grande is then. Rear passengers will appreciate the purchase when on long journeys three of them will sit comfortably. Also when they will recline the rear seats, they will love it.

Me too, had been waiting for the CIVIC since 6 months. So disappointing and confusing, but some of my friends who are doing an internship at Atlas Honda, viewed the new cars being assembled and they're saying that they are better in quality/craftsmanship as compared to the cars displayed in the showrooms. The welds, the fittings and everything else being pointed out here on PW, the new cars are free from those defects.

Thanks Sir, I have followed your thread on Altis 1.6, it was very helpful. 1.6 is value for money because it offers enough power to drag that huge body and with rims and multimedia average user doesn't need to spend a dime on it.

By the way congrats on booking Grande....but if i were you i would have opted for Civic Oriel because it will give a total new experience as you already have kept 11th gen corolla...quality issues are common in pkdm...and you will notice compromises are made either in exterior or interior to bring the price in range.
