Can someone point out the differences in 1.8 altis cvt and 1.8 grande cvti?
Altis is cheaper so I wonder what am I sacrificing if I go for altis and what am I paying for if I go for grande. Sunroof is obvious, kindly mention other differences.

Thankyou people. Didn't know about rain sensors in locally assembled cars though.
Grande looks like a good day option now.

Immobiliser cannot be installed. I asked Indus and they said that a whole new set of ECU and other equipment was installed in all Corollas except Xli and it cannot be hooked into existing ECU.

If you want both these features. Do sell your 1.6 and move to 1.8 CVti Cruisetronic. I was very happy with 1.6, but wanted immobilizer badly so sole it and added some money to upgrade to Grande.

I understand that there are budget constraints in such an upgrade, but if you could manage, you can have these goodies and also upgrade, car, model, features etc.
Assalamualaikum Brothers, as per my knowledge there is no way to install the Immobilizer as the OEM People aka Technicians say the ECU of the older variants does not have the capacity to do this. Same for the Cruise Control as the meter of the 1.3GLI AT/1.6 ALTIS does not have the Cruise control light. Maybe if you change the meter of the car to the older/newer ALTIS 1.8 maybe things may work out. My Advise is to upgrade if you need the goodies. Juggari kaam will not be that good. Jazakallah and Peace Out !! Keyless Entry tu XLi main bhi hogaye gee bhai jaan !!

Which is the most popular or eye catching colour in grande? Except black. I am inclined towards super white. Is it fine or should I reconsider?
Plus is there an option to change the colour after booking it , though it haven't delivered yet?

You can change colour during booking till they start work on your particular unit.

I had silver Altis 1.6 2015 and before that had black for 10 years. Now going for Super White.

These are three most popular colours.

Go to showroom and have a look at blue. I heard they discontinued gun metallic.
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

    Super white all the way.
It's the only color that differentiate Altis from gli. Rest of the colors are also available in gli.
If you wanna go for little funky than strong blue it is.

    What about Bronze Mica??

Btw, Super White only differentiate Altis from GLI in day light. At night it's difficult to judge from color

Bronze mica doesn't looks good with new rims.
A corolla owner would tell in a glimpse that which one is a gli and which one is Altis.
Even headlights of both cars are different

I have seen one Altis 1.6
New rims look hideous on bronze mica.
They look great on black or strong blue. Still, superwhite looks a lot different than regular white even at night.
