you need to replace the ECU, the wiring, the steering, the VSS, the transmission shifter switch over the HATO GHYR BA.Kas & the ABS actuator. Better change the CAR. Love Mazda love the babe @afarooqi

Keep the pressure at 32. Try different petrol pumps. Avoid idling with AC which is the biggest average killer. Average improves after 7-10 thousand kms.

Ok duly noted, does engine oil play any role in regards?

Yes, it does. For example, putting an oil like 20w50 or 5w50 in Altis will ruin it's fuel economy due to the fact that this oil isn't the one recommended for this engine

Tired of rubber brake and accelerator paddles, they are half worn in just 8000kms. Ordered metal ones including the footrest from sehgalmotors.pk today.

Petron plus is neither fully synthetic nor ideal for Altis. The best oil for this car is mobil1 0w30. Although it's expensive but really worthwhile.

Yes, it's a mineral oil. Yes, it's low in price, but i'm getting 12km/l within city. 17-18km/l on motorway.
Complete trip from lahore to murree to babusar top and lahore costed me 7200rs petrol. Explain that. If it's not the best my engine shouldn't be quiter, smoother or giving the best fuel consumption.

Do you know that Toyota oils are blended by mobil askari limited

Btw how come you can say it's not ideal? According to mywikimotors.com 10w30 is one of the recommended oil for 2zrfe and 1zrfe engine.

What's the purpose of getting mobil 1 if you can't run it to it's proper mileage?
We don't have that kind of filters in Pakistan that can withstand mileage above 6-7 thousand kilometers. People here get mobil 1 and flush them out even before the oil has reached its cleaning stage.

My theory: Go for a good oil in cheap, get it change at regular intervals and you will get the best out of your car.
