Default Protection of car from AC water (part 2/3)

The outer dia of AC pipe is 0.55 inches. Searched a pipe with approx same inner dia. The home split AC drain pipe has 0.6 inches inner dia so it can be fitted easily there.
Pic-3 and Pic -4 show the story

AOA everyone, after a lot of deliberation and visiting Honda and Toyota dealerships. I finally decided on booking corolla Altis 1.8 with manual transmission. Full confession I have always been a honda fan had two civics 7th gen exi and then a vti in the past . I was hoping to buy a 1.5 turbo civic this year. But was really let down by honda atlas firstly the civic is now way too expensive . true civics have always been more on the expensive side my vti had an invoice price of 1235k in 2001 when u corolla used to start from 7lacs but the materials, the engineering somehow justified the high price. But this time atlas has just dropped the ball not only the civic is expensive it lacks good fit and finish the materials used are plain cheap the standard equipment is just not enough vis a vis the cost. Last dec I had driven a relative?s new Gli and was really impressed by the sheer improvement and refinement .So I decided that now corolla has edge over civic . its RELATIVELY better built, better equipped , has better interior material. So looking forward to it . suppose to get delivery in November.

    Bhai manual ?

Try driving a CVT grande and if you like it maybe shift your booking to an automatic you will love it.

Just curious, why springs? Why not coilovers? Being adjustable, the stance would have looked even better

Buy lowering springs. There are different companies like

    Maxspeed
    Tein
    Trd

Once springs are chnaged yes the warranty is void. But the ride handling becomes better with better road grip as the centre of gravity shifts downwards. The car feels more on the road and feels planted.

well there were alot of things i took into account before settling for manual firstly its the price, then the cvt itself not a fan of how it feels. i prefer a sim0le six speed auto or dual clutch setup. so as neither is available manual was the obvious choice . Then there is the question of petrol price IT might be low for now and a year or two. but after that its hybrids or back to alternate fuels . i still have my efi lpg kit from my civic. not saying gonna use it but if petrol jumps above 150. i would have the option. the cvt on other hand wont be able to properly run on any other fuel like it was the case with city vario. and when petrol prices are high then 1.8 cvti and manual corolla wont have much difference in resale. so that was the logical reasoning behind the decision. other then that i love going through gears and work a car. the only regret i had with my auto civics was that they had a great engine especially the vti but they were limited by the 4 speed gbox . i would frequently think what fun it would be to have this vtec engine rev with a manual. so long story short , intend to keep the car for 5 years atleast and thought by then resale would be as dismal as a 1.8 Altis of 10th gen has today. but will be a hoot till then. however i must admit resale value did get better of me at the last moment, went for the superwhite instead of planned strong blue ;-)

    Last one corolla altis at.

Altis only is 1800 cvt and Mt
Grande altis is top of the line that too is cvt and Mt
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.
