My apologies if post is irrelevant to the thread.

I'm going on 2 weeks vacation keeping my 2012 Corolla idle, is it necessary to disconnect my DRY BATTERY?

    Thanks in advance.

They must be producing it less... I think they work on quota... When i booked altis 1.6, gli at and altis 1.6 at has almost same waiting time.. but gli auto is much more common on roads at least in karachi.. so I think booking time is based on production quota for each trim.

so what should be done now. i doubt facelift is coming. I was reading the old threads on the forum and people had been qouting rumours and sources abt immobilizer and climate controls coming in as soon as mid 2015. Point is nothing is for sure. especially now that IMC has seen that civic x isnt a threat it feared and on the contrary a boost to corolla, doubt they have the necessary motivation.

Sometime its just not the motivation, but supply chain changes from source

Facelift is comig for sure. And its coming in 2017 for sure aswell. shouldnt be any confusion there. all previous models have had facelifts and so will the 11th gen..

the only question to answer is which month of 2017? not entirely sure abt feb though..

speaking for all the owners who have booked vehicles and expecting them on nov dec. we are hoping either the facelift comes in nov or dec or at the end of 2017. so that we can be content with having a new model car for atleast a year 😆😉😣

According to the dealerships whatever is being offered in the Thailand model it will come here normally after 12 months of releasing there. Some dealerships said Nov 2016 but most are definite that something will come either in March 2017 or around September 2017. Dealerships also say this time whatever changes come it can be done on the newer Grande as well.

The next two planned launches by indus are the Hilux and Fortuner. They aren't taking any orders for Hilux anymore, and i am sure the same is true for the fortuner.

I am sure that Indus only added the immobilizer + amenities to counter the Civic, else they would've waited to introduce them in the face lift.

As to when is the face life coming? I have no idea at all, but for what its worth, the amount and volume of sales Indus is enjoying at the high end (Grande), they should not be in any hurry at all. If the Civic launch had more lasting luster maybe they would have pulled their schedule. But as that has not happened (and we can thank Atlas for that), they can probably wait a decent bit.

Facelift will involve re-tooling for molds etc which all cost $$$. Obviously indus would increase the cost, but as long as the profits are flying in I don't think they are in any hurry.

    Edit:
Thailand still has the current model corolla, and if the 12 months gap is real, that implies late 2017, early 2018

I am not very good at remembering things + my interest in pakwheels and local cars have been recent, but from what I recall Indus and Atlas have not competed directly for some time. In other words, they do not launch a new model (or facelift) very close to each other.

Given this history, Indus would like to cash on the facelift which means they will wait till Civic fever dies and Corolla sales come slightly down. So, I would say the earliest would be march 2017 but most likely summer 2017. That will also correspond to their mid life-cycle since the Corolla was launched in summer 2014 and a model in Pakistan usually lasts around 6 years.

Dilemma will always remain with every facelift and model change. Corolla is good that you can always sell it without incurring any loss and buy the next facelift or new model.

Default 11th Generation Toyota Corolla Pakistan

How much worth will my Corolla GLi AT black be at this point in time? The car was delivered on 1st October 2014, one of the very first batches of GLi in Islamabad, 9200 km driven only, well-maintained sparingly used car with some add-ons including Michelin tires and Android infotainment system with front and back cam? Not to forgef that the car has 2 digit special number as well. Not in mood of selling but just asking to get an idea.
