My grande cvt is 4,000 on the odo and I'm hardly getting 11km/lr with mostly light city drive.... comes down to 10 with a little heavy foot on the pedal!! the tyres are 205/65/15 yokohama C drive and fuel is 70% hi-octane.. I'm wondering how you guys are getting higher numbers!!!

Dont accelerate at once. Try to do hypermilling.

no sudden accelerations either from stand still or while cruising.. but I think even 10-11 is impressive... 70% hi-octane gives me a smoother quieter and more responsive drive!

Friends in the past Altis and automatic versions of Toyota Corolla were available without any "OWN" and had the shortest delivery time. Now there is at least three months wait in Islamabad for all variants, except 1.8 6-speed manual hard top.

I felt the 11th Gen Corolla much, much improved and different from the previous one. The interior feels much solid and classy. The driving position, the view ahead, instrument panel, door panels, everything feels nice. I sat in a Gli cabin to have a feel at Safa Mall, Islamabad, and I did not want to get out.

Toyota has really done a great job and despite toning down and degradation by IMC, it still gives a premium feel.
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

Frankly speaking, I am satisfied so far with altis brakes. I wasn't at first with eurostars but after I got Yokohamas for her, they have improved tons.

I don't drive like a maniac and go easy on the braking. Always maintain a good distance and brake whike you still have good stopping distance. Its my habit and I have a 2008 Gli as well which is being discussed here for pathetic braking. I agree. But owing to my driving style I never felt that way except for a few emergency situations in which it skidded badly.

And I have a feeling Grande brakes are perfectly capable of encountering emergency situations as ling as its driven sensibly. Otherwise we have seen aventadors becoming pieces of trash, obviously not due to shitty brakes but due to shitty drivers.

I agree. And some days back I was at a decor shop in F10 where a guy was getting his 9th Gen Civic cleaned. He asked me for a test drive and was immensely pleased with the comfort level it had to offer. Especially the transmission and the interior feel.

Toyota has made a difference this time! Can't wait to see your 1.6L beauty.
