When, and from where, did you book yours? And what variant is it?

Default Buy XLi/GLi if powertrain is not important to you.

You see it's not the number of additional features or differences, but the weight-age of one of them or all of them combined. I did not even look into XLi/GLi because I was already sold on the better powertrain that CVTi and Grande offered. So I would never have shelled out several hundred thousand extra on CVTi if it didn't offer a better powertrain and only offered 20 small things like shiny chrome stickers on handles and different seat fabric.

Similarly, if the Grande just offered Auto climate control instead of the Sunroof, I would've bought it, 'cause it's important for me.

That was the point of the whole writeup. Pay for the features you value. So, if you think you have no value for the better powertrain that CVTi/Grande offer, then you should buy XLi/GLi and don't pay for things you don't want.

I hope I was able to put my point across.

Congratulations. Just take your car to 3S dealer and tell them your problem.
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

      Congrats on the new car!
Go to 3S at earliest opportunity and claim this issue under warranty. My GLi AT had a slight alignment and steering position issue since day 1 got that fixed for free on first inspection.

It is just wheel balancing issue

I don't know why companies dont balance the weels even it is not costly

It is the problem i noticed in all zero meter cars

      Our 2010 civic

      Our 2012 gli 1.6 at

      Our city

The only zero meter car we get with balanced wheels is Dihatsu Terios 7 seater by toyota Malaysia
And apv in 2006 Indonesia made

      And also swift 2010

I chose a CVTi over Grande because I don't care for any features offered by the Grande. Below is what a Grande offers over CVTi and what I thought about those:

      - Sunroof: I never use it; air in Karachi is really bad so I don't wanna pay for it. I wouldn't get it if it were an optional feature for 20,000.
      - Rain sensor: I live in Karachi. What is 'rain' again? I wouldn't get it if it were an optional feature for 2,000.
      - Paddle shifter: CVTi also offers the same shifting functionality through the shift lever. You just don't have to move your hand from the wheel with paddles. Too little for too much price difference. I wouldn't get it if it were an optional feature for 20,000.
      - Leather seats: Leather you say? I think its leatherette. I wouldn't get it if it were an optional feature for 15,000.
      - Steering controls: Just like the paddle shifters you have the controls closer to your hand. A bit more convenient. I wouldn't get it if it were an optional feature for 20,000.

There is one thing though that I would've bought the Grande for, that is, IF they had had the good sense to put it in or at least offer it as an option. That one thing is automatic climate control or automatic A/c. I'd be happy to pay 100,000 for that feature.

If I lived in Islamabad my thinking might have been slightly different.

If what I just said makes sense to you buy a CVTi, otherwise buy a Grande.

A very good and informative review + comparison of the 2 variants.

Personally the sunroof point is good taking into account our bad air and dusty roads.

and yes auto climate is a must in 20 lakh plus car.

otherwise likes and dislikes is a personnel opinion not to be taken seriously by grande owners.

      Dear All

      AoA

I got my GLI Auto last month and till now around 1250 km have done, during driving front seat (adjacent to driving seat) is clearly vibrating, I have to drive on express way daily, where I normally drive above 100 or atleast 100 at that time seat vibration is very clear with sound.

I just went to 3S dealer and asked their help, they test drive my car (with me) touch around 100km/h speed, note the vibration, but no sound was produced at that time. finally they said its normal with every new corolla

I just showed my anger on their reply than they said they will call indus motor engineer for checkup

does anybody face my problem please help

      Regards,

^^ even the vibration should not be there, --- the Anger part is good -- keep it up, until they get it done.

finally they said its normal with every new corolla
This dialogue is an old crap to cover errors.

      Regards,
