Default Corolla Altis 1.8 fuel average

Aoa PWer's, I'm looking to buy a corolla 2005-2008 within 960k. I haven't been able to find a Good corolla in this price. What I noticed was that altis is cheaper then GLi's/XLi's. The only issue I have with altis is the fuel consumption. I need honest replies on how much it gives per liter. Thanks

the manual version gives back +/-10kmpl in city with aircon and 11 without it on highway its better since altis was launched in july 2005 you might as well look for 2005-2008 and in 960k you can find one you just gotta search the right one

It is just my general assumption because i had driven my Father's Honda Civic 1.8 litre Prosmatic which gave me 9-10 km/litre in city.

I am using a 2006 manual and I get around 11.2-11.5km/l with ac driving in city - Islamabad and by the way I am not into hypermilling... 1.8 rakhani hai tu zara maza tu ley loo ... one thing i have noticed I think because of 1800cc running with ac or without in city does not matter.... on highways you can get something around 13-14km/l

Sir, I inspected a 2006 Altis today, Manual, Blue color, with one side painted for 915k
I presume, that I should be able to get one with 2-3 pieces touched around 975k, else, I'll get a city.

if you want to enjoy Altis 1.8 , go for Auto , nothing else. The gearbox is too noisy on the manual one, I drove mine 2007 1,20,000km on m2 and usually had to run between lahore during night, the car used to give me 13-13.5km/ltr with speeds not less than 140km/h
Ac on or off, doesnt matter at all, and BTW the brakes were absolutely fine on my car

I've lost hope. All the cars I saw were either insanely priced, or not in goor condition.

I get almost the same figures driving an Altis 2007 M/T. I think this mileage is quite good considering the engine is 1800cc.
And yes, A/C doesn't affect the avg for this car.

Fuel average is a highly variable item to find by common users (there are standard methods) however, let me share my field average. Recently got by Grande 1.8 CVTi in Sept 2016 end. Had driven 115 km local and then on motorway but strictly following the Break-in guideline stated in Owner's Manual. Here is the summary:

    1. Drove not more than 90 km/hrs
    2. Did not rev above 3500 rpm till now (have 955 km now on ODO)
    3. After refuelling here is some quick data
    4. With A/C

    after KM > KM/Lit
    after 17.6 > 22.0
    after 28.0 > 20.6
    after 35.0 > 20.8
    after 50.0 > 20.3
    after 60.0 > 20.4
    after 71.0 > 19.8
    after 90.0 > 19.7
    after 100.0 > 20.1
    after 120.0 > 19.6
    after 140.0 > 19.0
    after 180.0 > 18.4
