Default My review of GLI 2014

Tested the car on highway for 450 kms.
-Exterior is just amazing. Most beautiful PKDM car.
-Interior quality is amazing so are the plastics used. Better than those of civic. Interior is classy.
-pick is same as the older version.
-drive is smooth and has a really good road grip. Though I found suspension to be better in older models may be cause I hate eurostars.
-I love the steering wheel, really good grip. Better seating position than civic.
-Best part is the breaking system. I just loved it. ABS seemed it worked really well on the highway.
    - no central locking device, only motors were installed. What a major turn off when you buy a car worth 1850k.
-Sound system is really good, better than what I expected.
    - this car probably has the best AC system among all the PKDMs. Have to turn it off again and again. Civic or city are nowhere near.
    - highway mileage 11-12kmpl with AC
-city mileage 6-7 kmpl with AC

He was also apprehensive of the car's power to weight ratio. But, since he has a job at Toyota Indus, could only convey his observations. What became of those is not known. Despite that, the Corolla will still remain a best seller. It is versatile, reliable and plenty capable as per us Pakistani standards. Our standards include keeping mum on issues like lack of immobiliser, innovation and even small things which have become standard the world over but deemed luxury here. The new Corolla seemingly looks better than the current Civic. That's because it looks different. I like both cars. Both get the job done. Both have good ACs. Both are mainstream vehicles of our roads. Neither is anything to write home about. Just boils down to personal preferences.
I agree and I also like both the cars, but it was just my own review of the car so that someone could get help from it if he has to choose a car in this price tag. Some features are better than those of civic where as Civic has some better features too like Immobilizer and climate control along with airbags.

Classic not classy. The three large knobs ruin the whole flowing dashboard concept. Yes quality of materials used looks better.

What is about the central locking device you mentioned please elaborate, "no device only machines"
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

I tell you one important thing or aspect in the lives of us hobbyists, loyalists, fanboys, enthusiasts, wanna bes is the fun and immense satisfaction to quench the thirst of modifying or pimping the car (actually "completing a car with what didn't come standard") like car security alarm, rain guards/wind deflectors (airrr prasssss). Then those floor mats, seat cover stitching, rimzzzzzz and tyres. Imagine, could you get that kind of satisfaction from an Accord, BMW or Benz?
man you guys gotta love those Corollas and Civics out there.
