    Default 2014 Corolla 1.3 GLi AT - aliusman420

So Alhamdulillah finally our brand new Corolla 1.3 GLi AT arrived today. Kindly do say Masha Allah
We needed a family car and this new gorgeous Corolla recently launched which everyone fell in love with so we decided to go for it. As it would have been a general family use car we decided upon 1.3 GLi, initially we were planning to go for the manual one as had doubts about the automatic one, but after reading what our fellow @InNoCeNt_DeViL stated in his review of the test drive he took of GLi AT, our decision changed and we booked the automatic one. Due to the unstable security situation in Islamabad test drives are not being given.
Date of booking on PBO was 19th August and car was delivered to us on 1st October.
So far loving every bit of it, Alhamdulillah money well spent.
It has put the critics to rethink their statement of the car being under-powered, Masha Allah the throttle response is very good.
Currently the car is a Night Rider it is mainly being used in the second half of the day.
    So here go the reviews:
    1. Quick review from dealership to home Page 1 Post #3.

    2. Short review Page 4 Post #65.
    3. Daylight pics Page 4 Post #64.
    4. Slightly longer review Page 5 Post #96.

    5. Comparison with Lancer Page 6 Post #116.
    6. Brief comparison with Prius 1.8 Page 8 Post #145.
    7. Recent pictures Page 13 Post #253.
    8. First ever long journey of the car review along with pictures, Islamabad to Lahore via Motorway Page 18 Post #359.
    9. Extensive detailing session carried out on the car Page 22 Post #421.

    Stay tuned for more updates

Yes bro it is a brave step but tints are a blessing when you have to park your car in the sun or you have family travelling with you or just for the sake of looks. I was willing to get darker ones but ghar walay said that 25% karwa lo kafi hai beta

Electrical tints should be available in Pak, button pressed; jet black, button pressed again; shareef car once again..
They can be imported but the price will be sky high, Government should subsidize such items

^^ Lol, totally agreed with 'forever alone type' thing. Same here..:p
We use tints/curtains for looks+utility purpose, meanwhile friends be like; khair hai, gari ko bara kaala kiya hua hai kis k sath date maartay ho..??

Not yet bro, but I recently went to the Nathiagali side and saw several GLi ATs going smoothly and that too overloaded.

Do let me know when you do, because the underpowered factory comes on board in situations like this, not on straight roads.

Good to hear from you Ahmad bhai after a really long time
Alhamdulillah I am good and healthy and the beauties are good too, these days attention is low towards them because of this hot weather
GLi AT gets driven once every week or even two weeks and total odo reading from day 1 till now is just a little above 2,800 km it's more of a garage queen

Another option which would look even better is meguiars clay bar and follow up with Chemical Guys jetseal 109. It is a bit pricey but it looks brilliant and after the detail the car will be protected and be extremely slick to touch. Plus it makes maintainance super easy. When washing, the water beads up and rolls right off.

If you have trouble sourcing the products PM me.

Here is a picture of my swift after a wash only. Sealant applied 2 months ago.
Dear i need these detailing products please help me out....thanks

Got new tires today, Michelin Energy XM2. Adjusted the almost 3,000 driven EuroStars for 12k and paid 24k on top. Ride comfort and handling has changed to a very great extent, way better than before.

I've seen euro stars getting hard after 15-20k kms. I'm sure these imported ones (yokohama, michelin, continental etc) would provide a smooth drive at least till 35-40k.

Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.
