Default Steering Box (Corolla Altis 2006)

    Hi,
My car makes TUK TUK noises I bumpy roads / whenever there is rough road. I made a check fro local mechanic a he pointed out that it is coming from Steering Boxa, which can be repaired (either its rod willl be replaced, and maybe kradi would sort it).

While another Mechenic told me that its better to get kabli from PINDI rather then repairing it, as it wont last much.. So i wanted to ask from experts, whats the best option ...

    Thanks alot

Check the nut bolts of front suspension first specially kaanchi bolts and then all rubber bushes as corolla steering rack dont get worn out too early

These cars have a steering rack, not a box. Racks are pretty hard to ruin.

This is a safety issue, so don't get it repaired. If it breaks down at motorway speed, there will be lot of damage. Get the bad part replaced.
