I will prefer engine overhaul rather than swap, look for a honest & skilled mechanic then get the engine tear down, after having inspected the parts then decide what parts need to be replaced, avoid unnecessary parts replacement.
In my opinion,if there is no abnormal sound except oil consumption, then only replacement of piston and valve assembly, timing belt & belt tensioner will do the job.
Never loose hope in life, every step gives u something.

I Would Also Suggest Then Is To Either Find A Buyer Who Will Buy It As It Is Now...Be Wise And Sincere...And Lower Price As Per It...

Maybe Someone Is Willing To Buy It And Will Get It Done Themselves...

I also ended up in selling the vehicle way less than the market, some 3s dealer says its faulty crank, some says cam problem. some said pistons pins are loose.

I got it checked by toyota airport, walton, cantt.

I was like what the **** they are doing they all differ in dere statements.

Its better to swap, if not then sell it

Swapping is the only option, a big no for overhaul

@mobe1 rebuilt is possible only if you have some interest and can stay around with 'Ustaad'. else do as suggested by SER_GTR in #43

In case of seized engine there could be a chance of replacement of bunch of stuff otherwise not, that's why i am urging to look for a honest & skilled mechanic not a fitter.I my self overhauled a lot of different types of engine which have been run successfully for a long time in extreme conditions.IMO,the original useable parts are batter than that of after market parts.

Yes Correct...But On Other Hand...There Are Still Many Things Which Need Replacement When You Open....In Short...You Will Have To Keep Your Hands Wide Open In Case You Need It Out...!

With Ustaad You Need To Get To Do Two Things.........Get Laid Or Get Them LAID....!

Because Their Ustaadi Will Remain There....So You Need To Find An Expert Wise Mechanic Rather Than Just Desi Ustaad's
