AoA everyone, hope all's well.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me regarding my cars drivers side door lock. It's a basic key (no keyless entry etc) which was working flawlessly until last night. This morning, however, it appears that the key won't unlock the door. It works fine if I turn the key to lock it, but turning it the other way to unlock it, it does not turn fully. It feels like there's something jamming the internals, but I didn't apply too much pressure because I don't want to break the key inside.
I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems, and if yes, how were they solved. Once again, the car is a 2011 corolla Gli, no keyless entry or security system installed, and I'm using the factory key, not a newly cut one. The key itself appears to be fine, its not worn out or broken at all. I have never faced this issue before, and prior to today, it was working just fine.
I hope someone can help me figure this out. Thanks in advance, AH.
